Our end-of-summer family adventure was extra special! From the first point of contact to our end of day goodbyes, Joe from Pura Vida provided us with an EXPERIENCE to remember. We took a moderate hike to the waterfall for our waterfall canyoneering extreme instruction and rappelling. Along the way he took the time to get to know each of us and to share stories of his own. When we reached our launch site, he was diligent in our safety of equipment/harnesses, tested each for fit, provided understanding of the process, and assured us and guided us at every step.

I would also like to mention another group from a different company set up next to us about half way through our day. There was little to no interaction from the guides to the group...and the participants each only took one turn. They certainly did not get what they paid for!

Joe is the OWNER of Pura Vida Adventures. He was encouraging, comforting, interesting, experienced and passionate about making our day magical. "When you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life!"

We give our guide Daniel a 10 Star Review! Each year for my Birthday my husband and I hike waterfalls. Daniel was excellent. He led us to so many waterfalls we would have never have found. Having a local guide makes all the difference in knowing where to drive, to park, and how to get a waterfall.
