Good evening I just left your restaurant with a take out order. It was around 8:15 or so when I order from you guys. A women took my order my ticket was 10009 something or 10019, I asked for a steak burrito with black beans and all the toppings in it, along with two steak tacos, one chicken one ground beef and one chorizo taco. Along with two shrimp tacos with all the toppings as well. I also order a side of cheese and chips along with a 8z Pico de gallo. Multiple people that came in after me got there order. After the three person behind me got there order I went up to the window the women asked did I order online I stated no I order with you here is my ticket. She then took my ticket looked at the food she had over the counter. Nothing was match my ticket. Then with that she asked the cook where at the shrimp tacos . With them going back and forth with each other she hands me me a box and it’s chips and a wrapped up burrito. I cut the burrito into the burrito and saw it was steak. Tells me he is making the shrimp tacos. I was patiently waiting for that while she hands me a another box and it’s all steak tacos. Even though that’s not what I order. I told the lady she takes it back tells the cook, another 20 mins goes by i finally get everything. I get in the car drive home, get inside and I go to finish cutting into my burrito it’s nothing by steak cheese rice and sour cream. Where the rest of the topping, I got (got) for 48 dollars and some change. I just got off a 12 hour shift at the hospital wanted some Mexican food from down the street and everything is wrong and I was very patient about it all. I ain’t even have my cheese or pico in any of the bags. I want a refund or credit for when I come back when your open. At least a manger to contact me back. I ain’t...
Read moreWe have been here about five times in the past month, but I had to add a second review because I tried two new things yesterday: soft pork taco and chicken soup. I have never had a better taco or chicken soup in my life. I didn't know chicken soup was capable of being this delicious. It's so much more than soup. Real shredded chicken (a lot of it), rice, pico, veggies, and slices of avocado on top. More food than broth! I ordered the taco because I didn't think the soup would fill me up, but I was so wrong. But I ate that taco anyway because it was so flavorful. Next time, I'm getting two of those pork tacos. Next time will probably be next week! We have tried almost everything on the menu and every single item surprised us with just how flavorful it is.
Also to note: Service is great. The woman who always takes our order is friendly and very open to special requests. Food comes out quickly and is always hot and fresh. It is small inside with only a few tables, but they are always busy with to-go orders as well as having full tables, and yet we never wait more than ten minutes for all of our food to be ready. And so inexpensive, my family of four eats for about $25 (including two hungry boys ages 15...
Read moreOnly 3 stars. I visited Thursday 7 March 2019. I was with a companion, she's turned off by restaurants that present their menu upon a wall (like a ready made Asian food place, yuk!)--consequently she wouldn't join me and waited in the car. I ordered two barbacoa with black beans tacos to-go for $6. I don't think that the beans were hot. The quality of the beef was good. I have been looking for a taqueria where I can just reliably obtain a docen Tejano paper wrapped tacos rellenos de carne caliente to keep on hand in my fridge (for under $20 including tax)--there just has to be a better choice than Taco Bell. I was not given a utensil for eating from the to-go box. I received some brown salsa. The flavor was about right for Norwegians--bland! I wanted de Chile Seco del Norte o chipotle o de árbol. I hope that whomever is taking the aromatics out of mexicano food (comino, ajo y orégano) is haunted by la fantasma de la Josefina Velásquez de León. I really wanted to find a place where they put the tacos in paper not foil (for later heating them up in a MW oven). I'm unlikely to make a return to this place. We later received sad enchilada plates over at Tacos el Tequila, no pimento, no spice, no garnish,...
