Hello I have visited BĆ©same wellness today but before my arrival I checked the availability of the wax extracts online on their website. And like normal I was thinking they were 1 gram a piece seeing how nowhere on the website did they say they were 1/2 grams and every other time they have had any they have been 1 gram and upon my arrival to the store when I had asked about the qualities and percentages of the extracts the gentleman helping me he didnāt know one or two of them which is fine but it also never got told to me that it was a 1/2 gram instead of 1 gram witch is what they have always carried. And even when I was getting checked out it never got said to me that it was only a 1/2 gram product and yes at that time before I purchased it I could have looked at it and inspected it but I was not thinking they had changed from 1 gram to 1/2 grams so i didnāt feel the need to check it. And no where on my receipt did it say that it was a 1/2 gram NO WHERE!! the only place that said it was the sticker on the side of the box that the extract come in. No where else did it say it. And also what about ordering online it doesn't say the weight of how much each one is. So people are knowing that you always carry 1 grams and it dosnt say any different so people are thinking there 1 grams not 1/2 grams .. so to be honest this feels a little dishonest and wrong. I feel that besame knows what there doing and I donāt find that honest at all... at least maybe put up a sign or maybe have your employees advise people of what there getting and how much there getting because I had asked for a gram and he said ok alright and nothing about it being a 1/2 gram and got it rang in. All in all was not very happy when I got home and realized I just paid 83 dollars for a 1/2 gram when the whole time Iāve been thinking and havenāt been told different that it is 1 gram. Would also like to add every other experience that I have had with besame wellness...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was my first time to visit the North Kansas City location of Besame. I live in Liberty, Missouri, and usually use the Besame dispensary here. However, due to a power outage, at my home location, I decided to drive 20 minutes away, to the North Kansas City Besame location.
As I suspected, it was an amazing store, with an amazing culture! I have commented before about the culture of Besame. It is always top-notch. Thatās because great customer service culture starts at the top and migrates all the way down.
The overall Besame culture, is excellent! Their awesome culture is obviously foundational. However, Itās very apparent, from the two Besame locations that Iāve visited: Liberty and North Kansas City, That those general managers show āBlue Ribbon Excellence,ā in how they run their operations. They were warm, courteous, and professional.
As a retired Operations Manager of a large airport parking organization, I understand the importance of great culture, in a customer service business.
Everyone that I met at the North Kansas City location made me feel right at home. They made me feel like theyāve always known me. And they also did a little something extra for me, for the inconvenience, of having to drive all the way down to their location, during this bad weather power outage, at my home Besame dispensary.
Great job North Kansas City Besame. You guys ROCK! Keep up...

The only thing I would like to see different would be to be able to see the employee at the online pickup window. Update: Shopping inside is clean, well lit and organized.
edit 7/15: This dispensary changed owners/managers and the whole vibe changed. 1st visit back was a hassle for me to go in with my wife to pick up something, I was told since I didn't have my medical license on me I could not go in! I stated I was not purchasing anything and I also stated "my wife is not going in alone, so I go in also or we will go somewhere else!". The next visit was just as unfriendly as the first but I was there to pick up an online order....we will probably not be back as the atmosphere there feels toxic anymore.
edit 8/10: Swade reached out tom me about my visit and offered for me to give them another try. We did and the visit went very well. The manager on duty Charlsee helped us out with a small discount and the budtender Rocky was quick and very easy to deal with. I can say the dispensary made good on their efforts to regain my business....if this is how they treat customers then we are coming back...
