popcorn chicken here at this location is usually good and fresh.. but not tonight .. took a bite of a piece of popcorn chicken damn it was bitter and has a stinky old oil smell.. I called the restaurant and told them that I was just there and had a bad popcorn chicken . She say bring me back the food with your receipt .. I told her that lady did not give me a receipt but I sure give her my time of being there and my amount that I paid... and I also order fries, cheddar pepper and onion rings , but those did not have a smell like the popcorn chicken .. so that lady say to me we use the same oil to fried everything .. OK .. but my point is if everything is fried using the same oil why my onion rings, fries and cheddar pepper doesn’t have that same smell... she say to me are you trying to tell me how we use or oils?? First of all she was rude and impolite.. I told her that I knew the OWNER and give her the name of the owner.. at that location .. then she felt salty and say oh I’m sorry I will check the oil make sure that its not old oil....After I told Her I knew her ower she say give me your name and the next time you come in we will give you a free medium popcorn .. this is not the point of being mad. it’s about her attitude , and poor customer service .it was my kids dinner for the night and it was a bad experience...I don’t want free food.. I have 30 mins for lunch. I ordered on line to be picked up ($17 worth) at 7pm. I arrived as messege said & parked in stall, pushed button and that's about it. No one answered after sitting there 20 mins, with 2 cars going thru drive thru and getting their food, remind you my lunch is only 30 mins, thinking speaker wasnt working, I decided to pull around and went another #stall. I sat there for another 15 mins. It's now been 35mins on my lunch break, so seeing cars going thru drive thru I went there, car in front of me orders pulls forward and gets food and leaves. And here I am waiting, never got acknowledged at speaker either I sat in drive thru for another 10 - 15 mins. After sitting there 45 mins without even speaking to anyone, BY THE WAY TRIED TO CALL, RECORDING STAYED PHONE NUMBER IS DISCONNECTED! I had to leave without my $17 burger meal. Read moreUpdate: Followed the advice of the owner replying to my review. The Customer Experience Team sent multiple canned replies. They finally said they would give a coupon for a free replacement with PURCHASE, but no refund listed. The automated responses were unhelpful. Customer Experience was extremely unhelpful. They made the situation even worse. Requiring an additional purchase to make up for the issue.
Ordered a sandwich and a drink over the app. The sandwich came out smashed and the drink was completely incorrect. Asked for a manager and they said that the sandwiches can be smashed as they don’t fit in their bags. The sandwich looked like someone smashed it in their hand. He said if I wanted a refund I would have to talk to the people through the app as it is a third party and not associated with Sonic. I was very disappointed to say the least.
