Harbor Freight — Local services in North Miami Beach

On June 18, 2025, I purchased a 20-inch floor fan. This store is located 1501 N.E. 163rd st NMB, FL. I purchased a previous floor fan there before. Fans are ok. I also purchased a Machete from there about two 2 years ago. The Machete is really, really poor workmanship, very, very dull, feels like it would break. but you get what you pay for. Now, to the reason I am leaving this review: I just tested to see if the male employees would say something! Well, no, they didn't. To the male employees: When! you see a female customer picking up a 20-inch floor fan box, take your 🤬🤬🤬🤬 over, and tell her Ma'am! don't lift that! Let me get you a cart. If you fall or pull your back out, then you'll be trying to get a lawsuit on Harbor Freight! The male employees just walk by me like i was part of the setup in the store. The next complaint: Why are the employees there so damn disgruntled? The job requires customer service experience. If you don't like dealing with people, go get a job where you don't have to deal with the public! Habor Freight Monitor...

I purchased a 2500 PSI electric pressure washer on 9/3/22 and also paid for an extended warranty. I opened the pressure washer and attempted to use it on 9/5/22 and it performed terribly. Not enough power to clean my sidewalks. I immediately packed it up and returned it to Harbor Freight. My refund was short $50. I asked why and was told that there was a restocking fee. A restocking fee for an item that I had less than 48 hours and was returning due to poor performance? Their response was, "didn't the cashier tell you?" She did not tell me and the gentleman that helped me assured me that I would get a full refund if I was unhappy with it for any reason. They then told me that my receipt says there is a restocking fee. How does a receipt, which I receive after my purchase is complete, help to inform my decision to buy? It was my first time going to Harbor Freight and will definitely be my last. I am so disappointed and cannot recall any other time that I have been treated so unfairly. Harbor Freight store it's always been a good place for quick an affordable tools for simple jobs. As a store is a great place. Unfortunately my experience on this store was very unpleasant trying to return a small tile cutter that was too small for the job. When I went back to return it was a whole drama. Cashier ask me if we use it when she can obviously see that the machine was new unused in original packing and manuals. She goes you have to tell me if you use it. Because I have to do a 20% stocking fee. (nothing to stock, other boxes on display were even worst than my return) It's obvious that I'm so used to homedepot returns that are fast no questions ask.
