Let me tell you there should be a site that pops up when anyone clicks on buying any bedding that says "See Hayley Da_it before you buy any bedding". Hayley at J&K was absolutely amazing. She is the gold stardard for knowledge and ethics for purchaseing any form of bedding (and probably any other comfort furniture as well). We went to J&K to buy a new matress for our master bedroom at our vacation home in 2021. Hayley was not the first sales person we spoke to but she was called into the discussion because of her expertise. Hayley had us laydown on many of the matteresses they had some on sale some not. She pointed out the critical issues about how you as a person and your body rests and moves on a matress and how to determine the way the matress was supporting or not your particular body. We learned a lifetime of knowledge about bedding that NO ONE had ever explaned to us. The matress we purchased was not one on special but it was the right one for us and she changed the price to match the price of some of the on sale bedding they had for sale at the time. That was in 2021 and we could not remember the exact matress we purchased but we needed a new matress for our home in NC. So I called the store today and lucky for us Hayley was working today. she looked up our matress and told us what we bought and that it was no longer mfr'd. So she looked up the replacement for that and then advised us as we were shopping in NC to consider several other mfrs model number xyz to check and then refreshed us on the issues we had (she remembered) concerning my wifes back concerns. Again, Hayley should have her own site that says "see above"-She is the ABSOLUTE BEST MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE advisor-sales person-friend whatever to go and talk with about your bedding concerns-J&K is very lucky she is at their store. I told her if she retires and does not do her own blog or site expressing her knowledge that she must make herself available to consult. She is worth paying for her everything-knowledge-no concern about what she gets from the sales type of professisonalizm. Let me offer a frame of reference to prove the point: the prior owner of my home is a highly respected professor of fabric and design. She furnished the house very nicely, as you would expect. And yet, what Kathleen achieved in the same space was even better. Not surprisingly, it has elicited many positive comments.

We spent a full day of shopping for a recliner that fit my husband who is 6'4" with no success. We recieved no personalized help in 5 big name furniture stores. We ended the day tired and discouraged to say the least. The following day we decided to head to Little River with little faith that we would find our unicorn. We were greeted by Mishi who told us about the Labor Day sale, and asked what we were in search of. She said she would let us look and would check on us in case we had questions. Mishi was never pushy and knew her business which made us feel confident and comfortable. Well we found the right recliner, actually we found two that would work! We found out that Mishi as well as the others were actually designers. We finalized our purchase but I also needed either a love seat or two chairs replaced so we utilized her expertise and shopped some more. We purchased 2 more chairs we weren't actually planning on buying right then but the price, design and Mishi combined made it a no-brainer to purchase.
