Jays At Little River — Restaurant in South Carolina

Decent food but watch your tab every time I come I get the same thing but price is different and something extra on tab when young chick or blonde older woman working maybe it’s because they are drinking behind the bar and drunk messing up orders. Beware smoking is allowed inside and it can be too much at times especially with a lot of patrons not just cigarette smoke but I personally watched the younger bartender I do not know her name smoke pot with customers. This bar is definitely ran differently than others and is outdated if you want a nice honest experience go to pilot house on mineola but if you live close by and want a quick drink or bite to eat keep an eye on your check to make sure you are not getting charged for things you didn’t buy. Jays Little River

Great food. I have lived in Little River for about 8 years, and I can’t recall ever eating here until last Thursday night. I had one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. It is 10oz of perfectly seasoned and cooked beef. My wife had a really good all beef hot dog that she said was on point. We enjoyed the night listening to music. This truly is a local bar. They do smoke inside so if that bothers you, should not go. It is very dated in décor, but I think that is the point with a hole in the wall nice place to go get a drink and eat some good food.

They took our drinks while outside smoking a cigarette even though we told them we will be right back that’s the only complaint I have they should of replaced them since they where half full and I tipped good. Other then that it’s a great casual neighborhood bar with a chill atmosphere and I recommend jays to anyone ! The bartender/cook steve was awesome and he made some delicious finger food for us and he loved on our dog which I thought was sweet!
