Seriously understaffed. Expect a 15 minute wait at checkout. Examine your produce carefully: I just wasted $5 on a bag of mouldy tangerines. Better yet, go to Giant Eagle or Aldi's, both nearby, for a less aggravating shopping experience. Update: I thought maybe after 8 months they would have improved. No, sorry. Thursday afternoon I got in the checkout line at 2:47, got through checkout at 3:04. That's right: 17 minutes waiting in line. Only three registers operating, plus the poor swamped customer service desk.

Reasonably fast cashier. I bought pop that was on sale.

Over a year ago I adopted my Bayla from City Dogs on the advice of my doctor that I get a service dog. To be transparent, I suffer from (Complex) Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. My doctor suggested I get a service dog, and it was my personal preference that I train a rescue dog that may have been through some rough times herself. I believed we could help rescue each other. And we did.

Bayla is such a light in my life. We train her at home as a service dog, and she has done beautifully with her training. We had her nationally registered as a service dog and I worked with a therapist and my doctor throughout the process. Bayla is legally allowed to be with me at all times. This has been such a huge game changer for me as before we got her I could scarcely leave my apartment without suffering from flashbacks or anxiety and panic attacks.

Today I took her to Marc's in North Olmsted (26393 Great Northern Shop Center, North Olmsted, OH 44070) with me to grab a couple things. Of course we received disapproving looks and underhanded comments as we shopped but I am used to that given that she is a pit bull and in a store. I let that stuff roll off my shoulders. I notified anyone who asked about her that she is a service dog.

When I got into the checkout line I let more employees know of her status as a service dog. A customer standing behind me began lecturing me and asked me if I "understood the rules about dogs?". I told him she is a service dog. He then began to yell at me, "WHY ARE YOU BLIND?!?!" I said "No, I have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.". He kept up his comments but I ignored him. Mind you, my dog was laying on the floor. Totally submissive. An employee even commented on how she would not have even known I had a dog with me if she had not seen the dog given how quiet she is.

Then three employees banded together and did not approach me but started yelling about how customers were calling corporate to report me so I approached them and said, "Ma'am this is a service dog, please let me show you her ID." She yelled at me that I had to legally notify them through putting my dog in a vest that she is a service dog. I notified her that I am under no legal obligation to do so, and given that it is 90 degrees out today I did not put my dog in a vest but that I would be happy to give her Bayla's service dog ID. I showed it to her.

By that time they had made such a spectacle of me that everyone was staring. I said "Ma'am please you can approach me and just ask me before you call the cops or corporate on me. I am a God-fearing woman. I am approachable and happy to give you her ID. Would you like to make a copy of it for your records?" She said no.

People continued to yell and embarrass me. Finally I was so flustered and going into a panic attack that I held up the service dog ID to show to everyone in the store. I said, "It's amazing how someone who uses the help of a service dog can be treated like this just because I have a dog to help me do things like go to the store and function normally." Admittedly, I raised my voice to say this.

They kept ganging on me and people kept shouting at me and I had to all but run out of there to stop myself from panicking. What about the next person who needs to bring their service dog into Marc's and gets verbally assaulted and ganged up on? What can I do about the prejudice here? Admittedly I suffered such a severe panic attack afterward that I am terrified to go out shopping again.

UPDATE: corporate was very helpful in dealing with the issue. They were attentive and listened to me. They did their best to remedy the situation. I really appreciate them showing integrity in dealing with...

When we walked in today all carts were soaked which was totally understandable because it was raining. My mom asked ME.... all the carts are wet what are you going to do with the baby? When she said that an older lady employee with long dark hair snapped back really snobby at my mom saying well yea, its raining!! My mom didnt say anything and only looked at me in disbelief because she couldn't understand why the lady would comment on it when she wasn't talking to her. My mother wasn't rude so she didn't deserve to have the lady get an attitude with her like that so I looked at my mom and said wow she was rude. When I said that the lady yelled down the aisle No, I simply said its Raining. We just walked away ignoring her and her rudeness. Later when I was leaving, the floor was so soaked and the same lady was just pushing the water around with a soaked mop and never ringing it out so there was literally a huge puddle in front of the doors. I didnt see any wet floor signs but I still took caution because I could obviously see it was soaked. Even with trying I still almost fell while holding my 18 month old in my arms! I caught my self and went to tell a man that he should put the wet floor signs out into the walkway so people could see them instead of against the wall, well he walked away and the same rude lady came up and snapped back rudely.... the signs are out!! And I again nicely said but you can't even see them? She shrugged her shoulders and walked away. So I mentioned to another man could he please put the signs out where they could be seen because somebody is going to get hurt and he rolled his eyes and walked away like he was going to check but he walked right past them. I was fine but what if an elderly person would've fell?! The cashiers were nice but other than that I couldnt believe how we were treated here and I will never...

I have been a loyal customer at Marc's for many years. I remember Bernie Shulman's from when I was a kid.

At this particular location, I am friendly with the staff and the staff is friendly with me. I am a regular. I come here often.

I arrived close to closing time at 8:55 pm to get my weekly lottery tickets. The heavy-set woman at Customer Service said the machine was still on. She is always nice to me and she is very good with customers.

I had my bet slips for the lottery filled out by 8:59pm. I realized my wallet was in my van and I had to run out and grab it. I ran as fast as I could to the van and back to the door. A woman named Morgan whom I have never seen before raced to get the door locked before I could return. She locked the door just as I ran up to open it. It was 9 pm PRECISELY. I pleaded with her that I was already making a purchase and that I just was getting my wallet. She refused to let me in the store. There were several customers still waiting to be checked out. There were lines. Customers were in the store. I told her I would be in and out before the other customers and that my purchase was ready. She still refused. I was unable to complete my purchase.

I think she singled me out for some personal reason or something. Maybe I look like a guy she doesn't like or something. She was the opposite of helpful and understanding. Morgan is better suited for a job that doesn't involve interactions with people. She is actively unhelpful. Her base demeanor is to be the opposition, not co-operate with people.

I am never returning here. You lost a customer for life. Not only that, you have made an enemy. I will sabotage Morgan any way I can within my legal rights. Revenge is not a crime. I am not making threats of violence. You have no idea the war you have started. Thanks, Morgan. You're terrible...
