Bob Evans — Restaurant in Kent

Had Thanksgiving dinner here this year. Wow! The service was excellent. It was packed with a line out the door and yet we were seated within minutes. The staff was all so friendly and pleasant even though they were working on a major Holiday. We received our meal within minutes of ordering and it was like my families home cooked Thanksgiving dinner. The portions were huge and the food was hot, yet cooked to perfection. It all came out quick and together except my slice of pumpkin pie of course, which came when we gave in on trying to tackle those large portions. The pie crust was flakey while prepared just right and was also incredibly tasty. It was a real pleasure to have our holiday done right, plus no dishes or clean up for me! Bob Evans is always a go to choice for me and my family when we crave real homestyle meals. Our Thanksgiving at this Kent location was no different. Thanks again Bob Evans and especially the Kent location for helping make our Holiday a little bit easier while still filling up our bellies with real home made classics on Thanksgiving. I is the one restaurant I can go to who understand Celiac diet no problems everyone that serve food are very friendly and don’t see this as a inconvenience or a lot trouble to deal with they are all smiles too it is clean every one is always clean making sure the place is in top shape My husband started to cringe he thought here goes an hour of questioning but he was so surprised when she asked can I have soy cuz that is an ingredient in their delicious salad dressings my husband was relived he could relax and enjoy each other’srest company! He ordered fried chicken dinner and I had grilled chicken salad a bowl of chili I love chili nice to have I crave that stuff also stopped at Wendy’s to take home chili I didn’t know theirs is gluten free also. We use to also eat at Mike’ s down the Rd. The waitress that took our order either had too many tables to take care of or should maybe write down what people say. I ordered coffee, a ham and cheese omelet. My sister ordered sausage gravy and biscuits. Never got my coffee till she realized at the end she never brought it to me my sister got her food ate it and I still didn't have mine. The waitress comes over to us and says your pot roast is almost done if she wouldn't have said something they would have made a pot roast. Then she turns around and lies to our face and says no she put him an egg omelette in. I asked for the manager he did make it right he credited my sister the entire bill because it's ridiculous that we had to wait over a half hour for a ham and cheese omelette. I was in a hurry we stopped in there thinking it would be a quick easy good meal and that was the worst experience I've had at a Bob Evans.
