Service department has a very negative demeanor. We called about a LG refrigerator that stopped cooling. The first question was: did you buy it from us. That is ok , but, came across negative. She then looked up our purchase date and immediately told us there is no remaining warranty and it will be at least 3-4 weeks before they would have a technician available and it would most likely cost hundreds or more if it was something like a compressor problem. I decided that I should start shopping for a new refrigerator and knew it would not be from Karl’s mainly because of the negative attitude. I decided to give LG customer service and try the online diagnostics and connected with their customer service person who took my information and let me know that I had 5 year warranty that was still valid and they could have a technician out the next day. It is unfortunate for Karl’s to have such a negative customer service person who at best misinforms their customers and negates the chances of selling any other product...
Read moreI have purchased a refrigerator, a washer and a dryer from Karl's since 2022. Today I received delivery of a new dishwasher. Zach was Karl's installer/technician and he went above and beyond what one would normally expect. He took out the old unit, of course, but because my house was built in 1958, there were some issues in the space where the new machine would go. During Zach's first visit, he advised me that some plumbing repairs were necessary. I got them fixed. Other problems, like dirt, debris, and a funky floor beneath the unit had me worried, at first, but Zach worked some kind of magic to make everything fit and operate perfectly. He vacuumed all the debris! I'm extremely pleased with Karl's and very impressed with Zach's courtesy, patience, professionalism and competence. Karl's other installers were very good, too, but they didn't have the obstacles to overcome that Zach handled so well. The refrigerator and washer and dryer just rolled in, and the old ones were taken away. Thanks...
Read moreMy husband and I were searching for a mattress set and found one we wanted but the behavior of the sales associate kept me from making my purchase. We were looking at the first mattress and the associate came over and plopped down on the mattress right next to the bed I was laying on. Every time we moved he moved too. I asked if the store had a satisfaction guarantee and he didn't know and said "It's somewhere over there" and pointed across the room. He then told us to "wake him if we made up our minds and he would ring us up" while laying on his stomach on one of the beds. I was so uncomfortable that we left and purchased our set from another store. If I could I wouldn't give Karl's any stars. I have made several purchases from here but sadly I will never purchase anything from there again. Management PLEASE train your sales associates to have tact when dealing with customers. We were in the store on 11/26/16...
