San Pedro Mexican Restaurant NP — Restaurant in North Platte

I read the reviews before stopping at this restaurant with high hopes, only to be crushed quite quickly as we were given dirty salsa bowls and it continued to spiral downward. The plastic glasses were worn and chipped and later I discovered some harden soda on my glass (I had just ordered water) They have a large menu and the food is a good eat, but they can't seem to follow their own menu. There was a bit of a language barrier (so I couldn't ask about what meats they offered in their combo platters) but we were all fine with pointing at what we wanted off the menu. My plate came out what I ordered, only missing the refried beans and guacamole I had been promised. My mother's plate was completely wrong. The waitress pointed again at what she ordered, apologized, blamed the cook and scurried off and came back with another plate that was still not the right order. Not wanting to be a bother she chose to eat it without trying a third time. They weren't even busy (there was one other couple) so it wasn't a mix up of orders. Just major misscommunication from somewhere between our table and the kitchen.
