I never write reviews but Iām sitting in my car while typing this out because Iām shocked and grossed out by the way I was treated today. The rude older woman that tends the self checkout area needs some customer service training and an attitude adjustmentš. I had clearance items that weren't ringing up in the system at all, so the screen prompted that an employee would come help me. I turned to her and smiled, and she just gave me the dirtiest look ever and rolled her eyes. She walked up to me slowly, didnāt acknowledge me, and seemed so irritated that she had to help me. Just stood there and typed in her numbers angrily, all while heavily sighing and crossing her other arm. I told her that I could run back to where I got the clearance item from and take a pic of the display and barcode because there were a lot of them. I suggested it because she was having trouble searching it up on her Zebra device. She stood there, stared at me in silence for a couple of seconds and said āwell hurry up and go do it thenā with a stank attitude. All while giving me a dead and disgusted look. After doing that, she types in her code and walks away without even saying a word. She goes back to her little area, crosses her arms, and stares at me and other customers in disgust. Went back and they were nice and gave me a credit for the purse after viewing video that showed I did not receive it. Rosie was extremely helpful and felt terrible she had not given me the purse. Guest Services person was rude and not helpful at all (funny she is guest services). I appreciated the refund but they told me they called and that the Suburban store had 3 of these purses. So I drove over there to buy one and they didn't have any! They said noone had even called them. I also tried to return a sweater and they said I couldn't because it was a different store on the same day. So, I didn't get my purse, I wasted gas driving to another store and home and lost a lot of time in my day. The people at Suburban were all very nice and helpful, but not at North St. Paul. I gentlemen that checked the video was great, Rosie was great and that was about it. I was treated very poorly and also didn't get the purse I originally bought. Customer Service really needs to improve. I also lost my credit card and North St. Paul just said no none turned in. St. Paul asked for my name and phone number and said they would call me. She was INCREDIBLY PERSONABLE, had lots of patience for me while I asked questions, and she suggested AMAZING products while having an AWESOME and REFRESHING conversation with me. I have a HUGE customer service background and am in a supervisor role with a company that really treasures customer experience and Amanda was legitimately the PERFECT customer service experience I have ever seen. She is so kind, intelligent, personable, empathetic and much much much MUCH more. Thank you so much, Amanda, for providing such an infinitely indescribably GREAT customer service experience. The world is crazy right now and I was having a bad Monday and Amanda totally turned my frown upside down. I will never forget her and the service she provided - so remarkably memorable.
