camilas taqueria — Restaurant in Maplewood

I live in the neighborhood of where this taco truck is normally parked. This is the first time I have ever had a problem. The tacos were extremely greasy. I ate the first two because I thought the taste was coming from the lime, but my boyfriend who also got some tacos, told me how greasy his were which made me check my own and as you can see in the picture they were so greasy, you could taste the grease. You couldn’t even taste the meat of the taco, cilantro or lime in the corner of the container, there is a patch of dried grease , I called to let them know didn’t even ask for my money back and the guy that I spoke to made excuses saying they don’t make the cow. I explained to him that I’ve ate at the taco truck before and the tacos did not come out like this yet to make excuses and not take accountability Food services are lacking customer service good customer service is taking accountability when you are wrong not making the customer feel like they did something wrong because they have a complaint about the food. This will be my last time eating this truck and I will be letting friends and family know not to eat here , save your money go somewhere else...

These have got to be some of the best damn tacos I've ever had. Why didn't I stop here before???? The service was great, got my tacos fast, and they were hot! I ordered the Carne Asada tacos and their chicken taco. They serve them on double corn tortillas - which is the best, and they were huge! Lots of meat, big chunks of chicken, fresh lime and they gave me 2 kinds of sauce - green and a redish, and WOW....BOTH WERE DELICIOUS. If you get the chance to stop at this taco truck DO IT! Pretty good, affordable tacos from a friendly, family operated food truck. No frills. Doesn't deserve any 1-star reviews IMO, though. I eat here quite a bit since it's close to my house and my job. I like the steak tacos and my boyfriend likes the barbacoa burrito. The pork is too fatty and not seasoned enough (again, my personal opinion) and the churros are really basic, like school cafeteria style. Location is convenient on White Bear Ave. in the parking lot of Big Discount Liquor. Prices...
