My husband and I purchased 2 Sam Moore chairs at Woodbridge Interiors in Canonsburg on 9/5/20. We were told at the time of purchase, we would receive the chairs in October (6-8 weeks). We did not receive the chairs in October nor did we receive a call with an estimated arrival. I called the store on multiple occasions and was told multiple times by multiple people that they would call the warehouse to look into it and call us back. Most of the time we did not receive call backs so I would have to call again. We were then told different stories each time we called (i.e.. our chairs are done and sitting in a warehouse but won't be shipped until other people's orders are complete so they can save money on shipping, our chairs have not been started because the fabric is on back order and on and on). Today is 12/5/20 and we have still not received our chairs and are now being told we will not receive them until January 2021. At this point I would like to cancel the order entirely since the latest story is our chairs haven't been started because the warehouse is waiting on the fabric, but apparently the sales person we are now talking with cannot get a hold of the sales rep or owner. I understand warehouse delays due to Covid, but that was not even mentioned to us in September when we bought the chairs. Clearly our experience with this company has not been a good one and I wish we had never purchased the chairs given the hassle and the fact that we still do not have 2 chairs that we've already paid a downpayment on.
10/11/21 update - We notified the store that the battery pack was not holding a charge in one of the chairs in Feb 2021. They said they would order another one from the company. Brought a new battery to our house and it also does not hold a charge. 8 months later we still do not have a working chair. I have never in my life had an issue like this with a company. We spent a lot of money on these 2 chairs. I cannot believe the store has not remedied...
Read moreI have been all over to look for a sofa and love seat. I have found one at Levin I was interested in. It was way over priced. All the other places we visited, I didn't feel comfortable sitting in them. The seats were way too long for my body and it felt like I was a beached whale sitting in them. I couldn't find one to fit my body. With out fail, we visited Thomasville Furniture which is now Quality Furniture. We walked in and went to the counter. I told the man behind the desk what we were looking for and I gave him my price range. He took me directly to the BEST set in the store. I LOVED it. It didn't feel like I was leaning back when sitting in it, and the seat wasn't made for a 6 foot person. I fit perfectly and not to mention the comfort. I didn't want to get up from it. It just conformed to my body. I could have fell a sleep in it right then. He showed me how well made it was, showing me the frame. It was real leather. He then left and gave us the run of the store. He told us to go back down and sit in it and sit in others. We did and we came back to the original one he showed us when we walked it. I did put a down payment on it and he gave me all the paper work and also gave me a free bottle of leather conditioner, which I didn't expect. I am very pleased with the purchase we made. I will update this as time goes on. We don't even have it in our home as of yet. Stay tuned for part II on the unit as it holds up. I had no problems at all with the staff. they were very friendly...
Read moreI recently visited the store with my mother, who is redoing her living room. We eventually found what she was looking for at this store, but there are definitely up sides and down sides to my experience. First. The furniture in the store is UGLY! I wanted to leave until the salesman explained that everything must be ordered and we would get to choose the fabric our sofas would have. He wouldn't say it, but I think he knew exactly what I was feeling. Don't expect to find accessories or rugs here. They have all been sitting there for 10-25 years! I saw a lamp my parents had when I was growing up in the 80's, being sold for over $300! When you get past the ugly and outdated store, however, there are REALLY NICE things you can do. We picked a sofa that she loved, even if she didn't like the covering. She got to choose fabric, throw pillows, trim, and wood color. The salesman looked younger than me, but he knew my mother's style and made cool suggestions without pushing her. In the end, we got the whole living room set, and zero accessories. THomasville, please...
