I was excited to purchase my first car. Regretted it immediately after I left the lot. Drove for about 8 miles of this high screeching noise because the mechanic did something to my brakes so I had to go back and fix that. Not even a week later, my car turned off in the middle of traffic. Luckily, I wasn’t on the highway. Told to bring it in so they can “fix it”. So I’m out of car again within a week that I only drove for about day or two and wasn’t even given an option of using one of their rentals until I get my car back from them supposedly fixing it. I say supposedly because not even two weeks later after that my car turned off again which they said to bring it in, which I did and also got a diagnostic because the check engine light came on. They apparently fixed it but it wasn’t fixed and when I called them they said to send it somewhere else. They weren’t helpful at all. The men in there don’t respect women and it shows. I put $4000 down and have excellent credit and should have went to a real dealership, not swindlers. I had to go to the dealership down the street to actually get it fixed and pay out of pocket. They said House of Cars bs’d me because they sold me a car that they knew wasn’t ready for the road and wanted to take my money. Never again. Also, I know I had a spare and should have checked when I got my car back from them and low and behold it’s wasn’t there. Wow. It was a headache dealing with them and I should have just consulted a lawyer and got my money back.

It was a good looking car that didn’t work properly and you FAILED to resolve any issues I had. The screeching tires were after the test drive when you said to allow the mechanic to “fix it up” before leaving the lot. Not every complaint you get is a lie. For starters, i knew what to expect going to a bad credit dealer. I ended up getting a 2008 silverado with 66k miles. The truck seemed ok when I test drove it. Signing the papers is when the bs started. They tried getting me to buy a 7 day temp insurance for $700 so I could drive the truck home that night. The next day while driving the truck home, the check engine light came on. The code came up for a knock sensor (a $15 dollar part if you put it in yourself but $350 if you get it done somewhere else). I called and they said "ok what do you want us to do about it" A month later I got 4 new tries because the ones on it were cracking by the rims. When the wheels were off, both front ball joints and struts were shot. While trying to change the oil, the drain plug was rounded off like a circle and had to be drilled out (I don't know if they changed the oil at the dealer though) After all that was taken care of, the rack and pinion started to leak. All of these weren't major issues for me because my dad is a mechanic but for someone else the first 2 months of this truck could've easily cost them $4500. I would say look somewhere else or...
