I went to pick up a part that my husband called in to Craig at the call center. Upon arrival I spoke to a man at the counter downstairs who did not receive communication from the call center. Thus, the part was there upon asking. I was then told how if a part is not paid for it cannot be put aside. I was fine with that and stated that i simply wanted to pay for the part. The man would not call up to the call center and gave me the worst customer service I think I've ever experienced. Even when supplied with model numbers he complained about the hyphens in the number and ridiculed me about the way it was written. It was only until I stated that my husband works at Berkheimer in Gary- which is also another known parts store- that he decided to come around. Reliable had a account with Berkheimer, which was the reason for his change in tone. I have never been treated so poorly. We will drive hours to go to another parts store in the future. Read moreI don’t understand how brick and mortar businesses think they can stay in business by not keeping common parts in stock. I’m willing to pay double the amount of internet parts. (Brand Name Parts), in order to keep small businesses open. But the last Three times I’ve come here, it’s the same sob story. “Yeah, we don’t have that in stock. We can order it for you. It Might be here tomorrow or the day after.” If I wanted it tomorrow or the day after, I would have ordered it from RepairClinic.com for HALF THE PRICE.

Read moreBought part for numerous appliances here.....first was an inducer motor assembly for my furnace. Of course other places had it cheaper but i needed the part. I paid a little bit more for the part which is not a big deal. They had the part problem solved, a lot of people complain just to complain. Have a contractor come and fix it then if the part is too expensive! Just went in today for my dryer blower motor assembly. They have a sign clearly posted not returns on electronics......took out the motor, took it to the store to verify it was an in kind replacement......and guess what it fit perfectly!
