R-Bar and Grill — Restaurant in North Township

I guess customer service isn’t a thing anymore. This is my second and last time coming to this place. I don’t understand how after a certain time you have to show ID but have a host who is underage take our drink order like she was putting it in but can’t even take the order. Then we get two more waiters who proceeds to take our orders, now I’m frustrated because why no one is communicating on who is waiting on what table. Then I never understood how a bartender act as the manager, a manger is NEVER on duty. The only reason why I’m leaving a star is because our waiter MIA was tentative, nice and friendly. The other waiter who proceeded to take our order had a pissy attitude we tried to call her over to apologize for showing our frustration, she gave us a nasty look and in a nasty way told us to wait she was taking an order but she was talking crap about us to young ladies at a table who also look like waiters. Waiters here need customer service training and an attitude check because my first visit here wasn’t great. I always try to give a place two chances before I say I’m not coming back. Now IM NOT COMING BACK. Visit this place with cautious when dealing with the waiters

I returned to this restaurant on September 9, 2025, at the recommendation of a friend. Unfortunately, the issue with the waiter persisted. The waiter informed us that no one wanted to serve us and even advised us not to patronize the business again. Her name is Marianna, and she was extremely rude and disrespectful. The owner, Steve, needs to immediately replace all the waiters in this restaurant. I will be reporting the business to the Better Business Bureau because it’s utterly ridiculous. I’ve met the owner, Steve, before, and he’s nothing like the people who work for him. He should be ashamed of his employees’ behavior. I came here with my girlfriend in hopes for a cool and tasty, local spot. There are a few doors up front. To enter, use the door towards the left. We waited a bit at the front to be seated. It was really dead in there, which was good, because I don’t care for an experience when it’s jam packed.

I ordered a Diet Soda and a Deep Eddy’s Lime Mixer. We ordered the Southwest Egg Rolls as an appetizer. We got the Classic 1/2 lb Burger, cooked medium rare. I chose Fries for the side. I added a side of the Kajmak spread as well. We also got the “R” Stuft Burger with pepper jack cheese. We wanted to get both and share.

The Diet Soda was good. The Eddy’s Mixer was pretty good for the most part. It was definitely interesting, but for me, one was good for tonight. The Southwest Egg Rolls were freaking awesome! The sauce even took them to a whole other level of greatness. The Classic Burger was pretty big I’d say. I really wasn’t expecting it to be. It was cooked just right and kept me going until it was gone. The Fries were great. The Kajmak spread tasted almost like butter. I didn’t have too good of items to bring it to the true potential it may have had. The “R” Stuft Burger was a lot larger than the Classic Burger and the pepper jack cheese seemed as if it was this Burger’s soulmate. I dang near ate half of it myself, even after I finished the Classic Burger.

The service was steady throughout and she managed to check up on us periodically. She brought us everything we needed right after we asked. I don’t have any complaints in terms of service from our waitress.

Overall, I really enjoyed all the food. I’d say the items should be a bit cheaper on the price scale. Next time, I’d like to try a whole new list of items to see what else they have up...

I was here last night and as a first time experience, I would like to say the the service was absolutely poor. Our waitress Stephanie was very attitudinal, argumentative, rude and obnoxious. My drink was made incorrectly, I asked if it could be remade or exchanged. I asked her on three different occasions when she came to the table. She questioned what was wrong with the drink and what it was missing. I told her I wasn't sure but it did not look like a Tequila sunrise. She snatched the drink and returned a few seconds later with the same drink stating "her you go" as she slammed it on the table. When I asked for the manager, she told me they weren't there, I asked for a number which she refused to give me. She later returns to the table stating "I called him already so he knows what's going on?"

I retuned the drink to the bar tender and stated the issue. The bar tender was nothing but the sweetest stating she would make something else. also explaining that drinks couldn't be return and that I wouldn't be charged. When my bill came, both drinks were there and when I inquired about it, Stephanie rudely said "I told you we don't take anything back". I told her she never stated that and that her service was poor and rude. I even wrote it on the receipt to return to her. I will be going further with this matter because I don't think that anyone should be treated like this and maybe Stephanie should not work in...
