The only decent oriental store in North West Indiana. Small but packed with inventory that will save you a trip to Chicago.

You have enough choices to complete that recipe you want to make from Tiktok or you tube platforms or other online options. Definitely our first choice to pick up our Filipino staples. Adequate items on the shelves and frozen section. A little sparse on the fresh produce but enough variety. Has lots of lemon grass, ginger that was good enough for me.

They also have some bread and other baked items. Cooked and frozen meals for the ultimate lazy days.

Plenty of parking and easy access to Indianapolis boulevard and 80/94.

Price was fair but obviously more compared to bigger stores like Seafood City but when you factor in what you will save i has and money, it is worth the difference if you only need a few items, save yourself the trip and just get it from here.

Stopped by today to buy some supplies for a Thai dish I was making and loved the place. First off, the prices are reasonable. I have shopped at many Asian markets and sometimes the prices are out of control and clearly marked up. Second, the husband and wife that were working there and own the store were incredibly nice and very helpful. I've never worked with actual lemongrass stalks and she showed my how to prepare it. She also knew her inventory well and made suggestions for substitutions and better quality items that I was purchasing. Third, it was really nice to see so many fresh veggies and herbs at a small little shop like this. Their fridges have all the fish that are vacuum sealed so not completely fresh, but it's a step up from caned or frozen. The only way to get fresher would he an actual fish market. Yesterday February 3, 2025 I went to buy a Buldak Ramen, they put them in the back area of the store. when I headed to that area they spent about two minutes and next to me appears the lady owner of the store,Then I walked to another area and there she appears again next to me. I think she thought I would steal some soups of $4.00 dollars. Is hurts if some people enter the store to steal but not confuse that not everyone does.I am not of those kinds of people, for that I work.
