Read moreI called to placed an order and the phone was not hung up or kept on a busy line so we went in to order our food. Food was good, but it wasnât what we originally ordered, so our experience wasnât great. We ordered green chilaquiles con asada and received red. We had ordered a burrito dinner, but only received the burrito. So we didnât really enjoy our food because it wasnât what we had ordered correctly. I did call once we arrived back to work and was told they can only give us credit for half the orders since half of the orders were made correctly for the next time. The person I spoke to was the one who took our order and did admit that she did not write down green for the chilaquiles and that the kitchen mustâve missed the dinner part for the burrito. We spent our 30 min lunch waiting for our food since they had the phone on busy and then next time since we got the burrito they can give us rice and beans and the chilaquiles in green but not the asada??? This was not at all our fault, but for next time we can get what wasnât given to us. No thanks. I do not want just rice and beans next time or just the chilaquiles in green sauce. What shouldâve been done was apologize and give credit for the next time to be done correctly with the full meal and not just what was...
Read moreâââââ Iâve been coming here every Saturday for the last five weeks, and itâs hands down one of my favorite spots now. From the outside, it doesnât look like muchâitâs very unassumingâbut the food tells a different story.
I usually order the bistec plate, and itâs consistently excellent. The steak is tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The rice is fluffy, the beans are smooth, and everything tastes fresh and clean. Nothing feels greasy or heavyâjust solid, well-made food.
Portions are generous for the price, and the quality has been spot-on every single time. Itâs rare to find a place that hits the mark this consistently.
And if youâre feeling adventurous, try the lemonade or the horchata. Both are refreshing and go perfectly with the meal.
This is one of those low-key gems that keeps you coming back once...
