Cherry Square — Local services in Northampton

In years past Cherry Square was a popular spot with Burger King being here and High End Restaurants offering fine dining. Family Dollar had a great store here as well as Several other neat stores to choose from. Today Burger King is long gone and all the other cool shops with really only Potts Hot Dogs being the only reason I find myself pulling in and parking. Potts has good dogs and great steak sandwiches and good burgers and pierogies too. Prices are not excessive and the owner of Potts I have to say always treats me with respect and is always there to take my order and get it off to me quickly with little wait. On 2 visits I had gotten doggies and other items for my girlfriend and for otherj friends and the bill came out to be nearing 30 dollars or even a little more. And when I gave the owner my bills he would round off my total and I would not be charged any cents which would be a little savings which hey, where can you find any place that gives you any break on your bill. And it's always interesting how the owner gets his workers moving to step up the pace filling the orders - especially when they are...

Cherry Square is a strip mall with less then 10 business's. They are anchored by but separate from a large Redners Supermarket. Among the business's are an ice cream shop, a Potts Hot Dog shop (excellent), an oriental style nail and Pedi spa, a Chinese takeout food place (excellent), a nice restaurant with Middle Eastern cuisine, a former auto parts store which is now a Lehigh Valley Hospital outpatient clinic for physical therapy. There may be a couple I am missing but this conveys the gist of this location. There is lots of parking, not many crowded times (if any) and some top notch...

Fast food, auto parts, gas, medical care, food shopping. They are all mediocre at best. The hot dog place is cash only and don't always answer their phone when they are open. The Chinese food is always hot and on time, but they taste like every other place of its kind. The auto parts place is just okay and have most items in stock. Some employees know what they are talking about and some of them talk out their A**. The food store is over priced. The gas station is normal with friendly employees. The pizza shop went down hill with service but the food is good...
