Since the theater is temporarily closed due to the governor and this pandemic. You are able to rent out the marquee. My lovely lady rented it for our anniversary. When the theater is open for movies, it is a great place to see movies on a budget. For less than 5 bucks a person you can watch a movie on a big screen with an excellent sound system while sitting in a classy 1930s theater with all the signatures of that time when the movies were not only entertaining but that is also where you got your motion picture news updates. The theater is clean and is the best theater experience I have ever had. The newer movie boxes are so drab. This place in my opinion has the same picture quality and sound as the new places with a much better experience. You are not only watching a movie there you are sitting in a place where past top performers have played. You are sitting in living history. Look up the history of this theater and you just may be wowed...

Well came here to Roxy movie theater a few times. On July 3, 2024. Waited in line early drinking left over drinks from dinner. When I got in the guy at the door was so rude I had only a few swallows left he made me walk out of the movie theater to dispose of my empty cup which was way down the street while my little kids waited for me to get back. I never in my life was treated so badly at a movie theatre. I was planning on buying two drinks and a popcorn but since I was rudely treated by the guy that took tickets I didn’t buy any food or drinks so that’s Roxy’s loss. Also will not be back to this movie theater to watch movies. It blows my mined that with all the garbage they have at the end of the movie a few cups is not going to make a difference. They force you to stand in a long line to get in movie theater then another long line to get popcorn and drinks they don’t know people get thirsty during this...

I was just here tonight after work. Wanted to go all day. So happy I did even though I flew solo. I still love this old school theatre after all these years of coming here since I was little. Last time I was there was in summer of 2008 for marvel studios IRONMAN. New seats since then. Tonight I saw the highly anticipated THE BATMAN 🦇👏👍. was a 3 hour movie. Long ,but very good and different from all the others. Sucked to have missed the first 15 - 17 minutes of it due to last minute things happening at work and traffic, but all good. Very friendly staff. I remember when it was only $1.50 to get it plus refreshments. Not much of increase at all. Where else can you go for that cheap yet ??? Not too many places... What a sweet deal still 😁🤑 💰💵🍀☘🤞🍿. Thanks for a fun night out tonight. # single guy Thursday / week...
