Konkrete Creamery — Restaurant in Northampton

The owner is a magnificent artist, both in the kitchen and with her imagination. As far as her cookies go—I must say they are nothing short of perfection. The ice cream is excellent. Gives King Kone a run for its money in terms of quality (granted they are both Leiby’s).

*Editing my review because I wanted to comment specifically about other reviews disparaging the owner’s interpersonal skills, and rest assured, they far from the truth. My family has been ordering her cookies, and have tried their ice cream several times over a couple of years now, and I will say every interaction was efficient, productive, pleasant, and professional…oh yeah and the product has always been perfect.

It’s disappointing how quickly people are to spread their negativity, but the owner is a very sweet woman, and I don’t even know her first name but they just feel unfair. People are just quick to take everything personally, so please don’t let that impede...

I was just standing outside a packed konkrete creamery in line when a man not wearing a mask, in a time in which we are in a pandemic, came rushing around the corner to get through to the door. I explained to him that we were in line as the place was full and we were adhering to social distancing. Very rudely he told me he owned the place and he could do what he wanted, mumbled something under his breath and shock his head as he went through the crowd inside. What I do not understand is why he had to be so rude. I did not raise my voice just wanted to let him know why we were outside. Again feeling racially profiled in this state, with dark skin and a heavy beard you would think i would be used to it... Never did I expect to go to an ice cream parlor and feel so disrespected by the way someone look and spoke some simple words steps away from my home. I implore everyone to reconsider visiting this...

Strange people here. Desperately need to work on their people skills. It’s as if they’re possessed or from outer space. Been here a few times and have dealt with 3 different workers.. Each time no greeting or anything that would say “hey, welcome, we actually want you here as a customer” They just stare at you, and you tell them one sec cause you’re checking out the options.. (store is always empty by the way) Then they walk away with no acknowledgment.. no “sure take your time or of course let me know when your ready”.. nothing. You’re basically bothering them.
