I was buying some Evergreen Korean pears and there were 2 prices. One sections for 9pcs at $23.99. The other section were for 8pcs at $24.99. They were separated by other brand of pears. I picked out one box from each section and later noticed when paying that they were both in the wrong section. I like to know at what prices I was expected to pay. I just started looking and picked one from each section and at register, was told that one of the box was a 7pcs at $26.99 . I went back to pick out another 8's box and saw that the 8's section were all 7's boxes . Could not find another 8's. Told the manager that I didn't even checked the count, just quality . Told them that they should change the sign. Should place a correct sign. She stated saying that was the price and she will not do anything about the signs. There were a few times that happened in this store with incorrect signs. When I insist that they should change the signs and put the correct prices, she grudgingly said that they were sorry but that was that price. If I not short on time and did not need the pears immediately I would have gone to the border which were 20 minutes away. I know I could pay less money if I went to Jersey. I just paid on $19.99 per box on Tuesday. But for convenience I drop...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am giving a low rating because there is no such thing as customer service unless you are Korean. The store itself is great and clean - produce selection, food court, etc. the ladies at the checkout have no idea how to speak to non Korean people. The Korean ladies are pleasant to Koreans but any other Asian or Non-Asian demeanor completely changes. The Spanish ladies are on another level of rude. Zero smiles and scold and dismiss you no matter what race you are! Maybe they are used to being spoken to in that harsh rude way and maybe donāt even realize how they sound. It is so off putting. Another encounter- My son and I ordered Woori chicken which we love. I usually order the chicken platters for parties and have had no issues. This particular instance, the lady took my order, took my money and said it will take 25 min. Okay, weāll go shopping. We come back and tells me your 20 piece is almost ready. Itās ready and she insists I give her the receipt to check the order number. Iām the only person there at 630pm with now bags of groceries and she wants me to dig around for a receipt. She just told me what I ordered. So awkward! She wouldnāt budge, so had to drop everything and look....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe prices are higher than HMart but itās good that they have an Asian market in the area. Be careful if you are using a large shopping cart, the front āseatā has wide gaps on each side. My bag of peaches fell on the floor, all smashed. Other regular customers make do by covering the gaps with the longest products, not sure why the store couldnāt spend a little more for a regular cart. They tend to have good sales on rice, one of the main reasons I come to this store. Their steamed octopus and fried fish are delicious, and they give samples when they have a large fresh batch. They have a new system where you get in one line and a machine calls out the next open register. This sounds good except when the people before you take your register because itās closer, they were supposed to go to the last one and took ours instead. For some reason Iāve run into rude customers a few times, this is not the...
