I asked my cashier if there would be a discount for one of the items i wanted to purchase (box was torn and i was purchasing for a birthday gift and I didn’t have time to drive an hour to purchase else where). Figured why not ask, the worse they could say is no which would be fine. My cashier looks at the cashier next to her for an answer and before either of them could even say anything this lady next to me, also checking out starts saying how no discount would be allowed because it has nothing to do with the product and so on. Which I feel like the box a product comes in definitely has something to do with the product. She was just very rude. She ended up being the manager. I just thought it was very unprofessional and rude the way she jumped into the conversation not stating who she was and how she replied to my question which I was not asking her. She could have just said something like “hi, im the manager unfortunately we can’t discount for the box being torn” etc. and I would have totally been okay with it. But I just thought it was some random person that was putting her two cents into my conversation until i asked before i left if she was the manager or something. Use to love love love this store so much not only because of the clothing for my husband and myself but the Home goods. now it's like they don't want you to touch anything you may like to look at to buy. Idk what the problem is. Weather it's too many ppl stealong or just the way they think or may be the way there trained but I will just order online from now on cause they made us both feel so un-welcomed that we had been in there about 30 minutes and had over a half a buggies that was worth a total of 130.00 and instead of purchasing they made a comment to me so my husband told them to screw themselves. They will not ever make me feel that way ever again. Hopefully someone from higher management eill take a look into this because I've been a customer since they opened in our area and now I won't even look that way. Oh well there loosing roughly 200 to 300 hundred a month from now on and its more money for Me to spend...
