Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Norton

Slow as hell. We ordered at 10:30. At 10:55 it said "Brandon" was on his way with our order. It was 11:10 when the order was finally delivered and it was wrong. In the app it shows the shake has whipped cream and a cherry and they NEVER make it with the whipped cream and cherry. When you tell them it is made wrong they tell you whipped cream and cherry cost extra, you show them the app and they tell you they can't remake it. We also had to wait for them to bring out the chili dogs that we ordered, good thing that only took a minute not another 15 minutes.

2/11/2022 update Nothing has changed. Tonight we were in line for over 45 minutes, 5 or so was spent in front of the order box and NO ONE said anything so we pulled forward since I already made an app order and once submitted they are non refundable. Also AS ALWAYS the order was wrong. We ordered 5 shakes and they COME WITH whip cream and when we said something we were told that cost extra, u showed them the app and again was told it cannot be remade. Included picture of the app for proof this time. It very clearly says it comes WITH whip cream and cherry!!!

6/13/24. Update again Services have gotten better and faster. They now make the shakes correctly. You're still waiting 10 to 15 minutes for someone "on their way" even if you are parked right outside the door.

Absolute garbage service. 15 minutes AT the speaker not including the wait to the speaker. They eventually pull us up and we pay and we sat there for 30 Minutes. The employees didnt even look at us for the entire 30 mins. We eventually had to knock on the window ( which i felt rude but again they wouldnt even look at us) we asked what was going on as we only ordered a corndog, and a regular cheesebuger, and fries. Jocelynn was the cashier im not sure who answered the window maybe that was her? It was halloween and she was dressed like a deer. Anyways she answers the window snappy as ive ever heard any employee talk to a customer. "UM WE ARE BACKED UP" yeah I can tell, we have been sittinf at the window for 30 mins and are the first in line so? So we asked if there was a wait time as at this point our 5 month old was hungry as well and was crying for a bottle. She shuts the window in our face without saying a word and came back not even 30 seconds later with our food. It had been sitting their the whole time😐 Yall should really get ahold of your business before it becomes one of the many failing businesses in Norton,Va because your employees are absolutely rediculous and are going to ruin...

I ordered breakfast burrito a brioche and pickle O's and I waited from 1025 when I started my order till 1106 when I pulled out after getting my order. When I pulled up to the window the girl that handed me my food tried to hand me drinks that I didn't order. She then proceeded to hand me my food, she didn't say "I'm sorry for your wait", no empathy at all for the 40 min wait time. But looking past her the other two girls there wasn't working but looked like they was playing around and picking at each other's clothes, not caring that I had 4 cars behind me and they closed 6 min ago. If anything else in our area was open to order from I would have went there and left with the like 6 other cars that got in line behind me that didn't wait because the wait time was way too excessive. But I just went to pals and got the other 3 people in my family food and barely waited 5 min on drinks 4 burgers 3 fries and a chili dog. I got there 1 min before closing and they had me out of there by 1007. So I couldn't imagine if I ordered for my whole family how long I would have waited. I won't be back...
