Forever Sweet Bakery — Restaurant in Norwalk

These are the most expensive for the flavor cupcakes I have ever had. So far I have tried Red Velvet, Vanilla Celebration, Chocolate mint and Vanilla coconut, Chocolate Gnache and chocolate raspberry. For the cost there is absolutely no variety in the flavor.

Vanilla celebration, is exactly what you expect. That's fine. Very heavy egg flavor.

Red Velvet has absolutely no chocolate I. It, just a vanilla cake with red food coloring. The frosting has absolutely no cream cheese just a normal buttercream.

Vanilla Coconut again just your standard buttercream and white cake with a little coconut sprinkled on top.

The Chocolate mint, again just a colors buttercream with no flavoring. The chocolate cakes is super bitter, and not good dark chocolate butter but ruin your tastebuds bitter. The mint is there but super subtle.

Chocolate ganache and chocolate raspberry are the most flavorful cupcakes they provide but just barely. Again chocolate cake is just that chocolate. The buttercream on the raspberry had the flavor and it was nice but I would expect more effort for the price.

All in all this is just a cupcake factory that makes 2 batters and colored buttercream toppings with minimal effort.

Norwalk has significantly better options for the price you pay. I would not recommend going back and they definitely are not worth a second chance.

I was delighted by my first order of Forever Sweet's mini cupcakes purchased for a holiday party at my home in Dec 2015. They were beautifully decorated and delicious to boot! When a colleague recently requested mini cupcakes for an in-office birthday celebration, I knew who to call -- Forever Sweet! I placed an order for 2 dozen mini cupcakes to be decorated with the words, Happy Birthday Janet and with flowers on the non-lettered cupcakes. I admit to being somewhat disappointed by the appearance of the minis when I picked them up the evening before the party -- they were cute, but nothing like the wonderful minis I bought at Christmas. I did not comment on them, just paid my bill and left the store. The next day, Skye called me at work and expressed HIS disappointment in the appearance of the minis! He insisted on driving 20 miles to Purchase, NY to bring me a replacement set -- free of charge! The replacement minis were truly adorable and all 48 minis were delicious! It was my brother-in-laws 30th and I was looking for something “beer” themed since we were hosting it at a Brewery, and the cookies came out even better than I imagined! They were not only a dessert for the party but a major decor piece for the night! There were three different designs, a batch with “30”, “cheers to 30 years!”, and the last which was the coolest, a beer mug, filled with beer! The cookies were a hit! They looked amazing and were delicious.

They also did cupcakes for a bachelorette weekend and most recently a surprise birthday delivery for a coworker where Skye himself came with his Birthday Hat to help celebrate the occasion!! Wow! Where I only had hours notice and they made it happen!! Both parties were just thrilled and of course the treats were so delicious!

Skye and his team are so great and they go above and beyond. They care about the details and are truly such a pleasure to work...
