Allen is a phenomenal nail artist. He ensures he’s doing something you love and his work is always amazing. I would recommend anyone on their great team! The customer service is always spot on - literally the best I’ve ever had in the city!

EDIT: I have been a frequent client of Dream Salon for over three years, and there is a reason I keep going back. They are one of the town’s best kept secrets, and it’s time I share my amazing experiences throughout the years.

Dream Salon has the best customer service of any salon I’ve been to. Whenever I walk in, everyone says “Hi, Jamie!” I’m always asked if I want something to drink from their tea station (even though I have a water bottle permanently attached to my hand); they are so friendly. They frequently provide promotions and specials to encourage customer loyalty, and they stock great products! Once during a hot summer day, they were handing out watermelon in the salon for a refreshing snack. But what I have to rave about most is their focus on customer care and wellness.

The Dream team genuinely cares about providing an inclusive, exceptional customer experience. Not only do they have free parking next to the salon, but they also sometimes have a wheel of wonder you can spin for your next promotional deal. They encourage your self-care and want to make it the best experience for you as possible. I have moments where I’m grooving to the most recent hits on the radio in the front of the salon, and I have times where I’m practically falling asleep to the calming tones in the pedicure area. Dream salon provides all the spa services - manicures, pedicures, hair care, waxing, massage, facials, etc. I go to Dream Salon for nail services - Bo, Mariena, and Cheena all do great work; however, Allen is my main man.

Allen's precision is impeccable, and his artistry is wonderful. He accepts a challenge and cares about building his skillset in his craft, which is a wonderful thing to see! Best of all, he not only questions to ensure you like his work, but he also openly encourages feedback. Whenever I leave the salon, I walk out with a set that I know I’m going to get compliments on until my next fill in.

They also use quality products - it’s incredibly rare when I have a lifting problem, and when I do, I can usually schedule an appointment quite quickly using their online scheduling system (which I absolutely love). I’ve commented on how I would like some more shellac color selection, and then they always bring something new, like chrome nails, ombre colors, or this awesome foil product that makes me feel like a mermaid.

The shop could be tiny to some who are used to traveling to large, commercial salons, that can accommodate a bridal party of ten all at once, but I can tell you it would be much more of a personable experience splitting it between Dream's nail techs. Did I mention there’s a wine store right nearby?

This was my first visit to Dream Salon & Spa. I got the works - haircut, manicure, and pedicure!

I was very nervous when I arrived as it had been a long while since I had gotten my hair cut. It had been almost two years. I had an off experience with my last stylist who gave me bangs right before the pandemic and the cut was a bit lopsided - so I had a little bit of fear coming into a new salon. However, Kaity was an absolute game changer in my choice for stylists.

I showed her a couple pictures of what I thought might look cute and gave her full reign on what she thought would look best. She did not disappoint! We went short to chin length to hide my outgrown bangs and she added layers. My hair is wavy (2b/2c in some areas) and she said this style would add texture to fall naturally well for my hair. She styled my hair by adding waves to my hair so that I could see what it looked like once it was cut.

Kaity even took the time to show me how to curl my hair with the hair straightener because I asked her how she does it. I have not been able to get my hair to curl using the straightener - but she gave me some great tips that I will use!

I had mentioned to her that I always wanted to color my hair and she showed me a couple options of what we could do on a future visit. That made me very happy! I will be back to visit her in a couple months and have her give me the under color we talked about!!

After the cut, I was up for my pedicure. I had not had a professional pedicure for probably 10 years and Coco was absolutely wonderful. The massage chairs were great once I figured out the controls and was not being bounced around the chair (LOL!). I picked out a beautiful teal color for the pedicure and it turned out wonderfully. Coco also did my manicure after the pedicure with the same color.

I think my mani & pedi ran over the closing time as I was the last customer to leave (45 minutes after 7pm). I appreciate Coco staying to finish taking care of me as my appointment started at 4:15pm and they were quite busy today.

Overall, I loved my visit and will definitely be back. Everyone was so friendly and talkative. I have found my new favorite hair...

LOVE THIS PLACE. I moved to Cincy this year and had a hard time finding a place to get my nails done. Most places I found were too expensive compared to what I'm used to and the more affordable places gave me major "you get what you pay for" vibes. I am so glad that I eventually stumbled on Dream Salon and Spa! The customer service alone is enough to keep me coming back. I 100% recommend it. One. Hundred. Percent.

Scheduling Appointments/Website: It is very easy to schedule appointments online. Their website has descriptions of the services that they provide along with the length of time and price of each so you know what you’re getting yourself into.

Location/Interior: The location was easy to find and there is a parking lot right next to it, so there's no need to drive around looking for street parking. The interior is welcoming and clean and they’ve done a great job of creating a relaxing atmosphere. The seats at the manicure stations and in the pedicure spa area are all very comfortable.

Customer Service: I cannot give enough praise for the customer service! This is the absolute best I've experienced since I've been here. They warmly welcome you when you arrive. It feels like I’m visiting family or something. They’re that friendly. I believe it’s actually a small family-run business. I’ve gotten both manis and pedis done there. Regardless of who I’m with, I know I’ll be taken care of. They check in to make sure you’re comfortable, relaxed, and happy with your nails throughout. And they’ve always done a wonderful job with my nails.

Price: You can get a Salon Mani & Pedi for a reasonable price (maybe around $55). I’ve treated myself to their seasonal pedicures and I love them. They are a little pricier, but it’s totally worth it (and probably still cheaper than it would be elsewhere).
