Decibel Korean Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Norwood

They completey ignored me and a man with a funny mustache who everyone flocked around he just kept looking towards my direction dont know if hes a bigger tipper buys frequent or is the owner but either way if he was a high paying tipper other people tip as well I always tip, if he is a guest who buys their food they should have treated me same because guest expireance is what determines your loyalty to a resturant besides the food. If he was the owner or ceo then he should have told his employees to help that customer or help that guest or see if he had any questions. Then the taller guy just standing there by the man on the laptop. The girl ignored me she chatting with them, the whole crew was not helpful. I had a stranger order for me an for some reason they seemed intentional as they just spoke to the man in a hat funny hat with a biycle mustache. I dont know who the guy was that helped me order but thank you I dont know if race had anything to do with it but the guy who help me was helped real quick as soon as he went to order the guy who did help me was a man about 45 white dressed with jeans dress boots and a black button up shirt and a chain wallet kind of looked like a older rocker or biker. Ordered Decibel at Factory 52 since they had a “best of Cincinnati” sign out front. Please do not be fooled by this. Not sure who actually tasted and voted on the food, but they must not have a seasoned palate. Want to preface this by saying that I have not tried Korean fried chicken. I’m familiar with chicken in any form, and being from the Midwest we obviously love fried food. The chicken tender combo that I ordered was $17 of all breading with no flavor. None. Like I’ve had better batter at a summmer festival. Ordered the bbq sauce on the side and thank goodness I did because it was horrible. Ended up using the fry sauce as a dipper because it was much better. Ate one tender and a handful of fries. The fry seasoning had a weirdly sweet profile to it so again, wasn’t a fan. Ended up eating 1 full tender out of a 4 piece combo and maybe 6 waffle fries. Threw the rest out. Truly don’t get the hype here. Their hot dogs may be better but the chicken is trash. Should’ve listened to my uncle who came a few weeks ago and said he threw his wings out (the man loves a good wing) but I was stubborn and wanted to try for myself. This is my second experience with Korean fried chicken and thank goodness this wasn't my first else I would never try it again. My stomach is still hurting from it.

If you see in the photo, looks absolutely phenomenal and huge! Don't be fooled. It's all breading and a huge coat of it. You take a bite and you'll see the white/yellow chicken that's clearly not cooked. I got the 4 piece drums ate 1 threw Away the rest. The tenders are no better as some will look crisp and others look cold. The French fries and sauce was good. The Korean rice is good but you're better off getting fries as the rice amount is very small.

Additionally, check your order to make sure it is correct. We ordered 6 pieces tenders and got 5 pieces.

Recommendation: shut down for a weekend and focus on cooking the food correctly. This ain't it. Only a matter of time before it gets worse or something...
