Starbucks — Restaurant in Oʻahu

‘Sorry, we’re out of..’ is what I hear now on average every other time I go here. Matcha. Caramel. Mocha. Pink Drink. Cookie Crumbles. Whipped Cream. Seriously, I’ve never had this experience with the dozens of other locations I’ve visited all over the country and internationally. I’ve had the occasional disappointment of not getting my sausage, egg and cheese wrap, which I understand.

It’s a shame because they just completed interior renovations. I’m sorry, but a fresh, hip look doesn’t replace the fact that your inventory control is lacking and needs serious improvement. Perhaps putting more money towards your employees and ordering product would be better than converting half of your seating space into additional storage facilities that you fail to keep properly stocked.

Today, after waiting a few minutes at the window after waiting several in a two car line, my grande mocha cookie crumble was handed to me half-melted and missing the whipped cream and mocha drizzle on top. The rep told me that they’d just ran out of whip and asked if that’s okay. I already paid. I appreciate you asking, bud, like really thanks, but if it’s not ‘okay’ what are you going to do?? What’s the sub for whip? Cold foam I guess.

Stock shortages. Often 15+ minutes plus waiting with or without a long line. Hit or miss with pleasant servers. Wasn’t this way a year or two ago. Don’t know what happened. But something isn’t right and there’s no way I’m the only person to experience this. Would love to see improvement and update my review. I’m always open to adapting.

The windward Starbucks nestles itself across the street from the Windward mall. It hustles and bustles with customers walking in to the store and with the drive thru. It is constantly and fairly busy with very high points. The quality of the coffee and drinks provided is made very well and the customer service is good as well. I had ordered a double smoke bacon croissant and then got a caramel macchiato. It was made and ready within 3-5 minutes of purchasing. They are fast and effecient and well push your order through at a decent rate despite their busy schedule. This is very good especially as a customer who wants and expects their order to be of quality and to have it as fast as possible. My only issue is there is so much foot traffic that at certain times it is hard to find a decent seat and one that is open as well as clean. They are almost so busy that there is not much of a need or a time to clean the tables and chairs after a lot of very messy customers until later. Even the outside seating area is also not very pleasant to sit outside. Two factors is the exiting of the drive thru cars and the second is gross...

I love this starbucks near safeway across windward mall. I usually go there every morning mon-friday between 630am-7:30am. All the employees are so friendly and the employee taking orders at the drive thru always makes my day Im not sure of her name but I drive from waianae to kaneohe for work and sometimes the drive can be a little rough & tiring but going thru that drive thru with that particular employee working just makes my day better because of her positive, cheerful & friendly attitude which we need more people in this world like her. I've been wanted to thank her for always making my day but she was never at the window until today 10/22/24 @6:25am I was able to thank her. If this ever gets back to her i just want you to know that i appreciate you for always giving the best customer service and for making the start of my day a great day. Take care...
