I like the store but new customer maybe confuse on how they operate. Example: if you buy poke and wanted to enter the main store to get groceries they will stop you because you have a bag entering the store. They will keep it for you and gave you a number to get it back. Not sure if they put it in the fridge for you?!!!! But if you forget and went home and the store is closed you'll be out if luck! Store is clean it use to smells like piss in the Isles I guess they clean it better now. Bake goods are cheap but meats are expensive. They have hand wipe which is super great when touching meat and the areas that it come in contact with. Continue on shopping without fear of germs. Super great idea. 3 stars is the customer service experience no smiles no greetings. security is watching you not even smile just watching you is a little uncomfortable. I had a bag bust and my plate lunch was smash the bag was not at all good. I complain but the counter lady had a angry face like I was trying to steal something. Wow! She didn't replace my meal instead made me bought another one and sent me in my way. And I could here a little gossiping about me complaining. I was very disappointed What that store needs is a little aloha. Not every customer who complains are annoying they should be treated better then what I had. I still go often for the Poke it's always looking good New people: try the poke they give sample just ask. They have too many department it's frustrating. They need to reconstruct it better. How can I buy beer and can't enter the main store or buy poke and can't carry it. Should be a sign saying that or the employee tells you or something.

I grew up eating and shopping here! I swear they have the best poke and tako on the island. Sells so fast, that’s why its soooo fresh. They are probably making it hourly. Got the; Island limu, island seasoned poke, tako and seasoned Island salmon. My uncle mentioned – back in the day it was only poke, where did the salmon come from. Haha clearly it was the tourist that probably requested it. I ain’t mad at the game; shoot I loooove salmon, it’s so fatty so having it poke style was good but if I’m going to be honest everyone knows poke on the islands just tastes sooo much better. I always stick to the classic, my favorite, the one who will always have my heart; POKE ISLAND...

Just went to get poke the manager lady started pulling the food and said we could still order but when it was my turn she said I couldn't order a poke bowl at 7:20pm and when I asked why she said 'Do you know that rice can't sit out all day? We close at 8:15' with the nastiest attitude. The cashier lady was so nice and I asked her if that other lady was having a bad day and she said that she was just 'busy'. Then she said that lady was also the manager. My boyfriend was so mad he didn't order his food and we drove 30 mins just to come get Tamura's poke. Definitely won't be returning as long as she works there. So rude for no reason. Why work somewhere if you clearly hate...
