My history with Karen's goes back about 22 years! I know I'm telling my age here but age is just a number. Mrs. Karen Hart was gracious enough to give me my very first job all those years ago. What she and her family gave me was more than just a part time job to a teenager. What I learned from them was so much more and I've carried those things with me all these years! I already knew I was one of those people who would chose quality over quantity. I've always been so drawn to precious gems and stones, from a very early age. Which started with "just plain old rocks and stones" I would find as a child. The impressions, knowledge and care this family left with me are priceless to this day. Karen's is the only place you will find such a personal experience! I know because I saw the dedication and service to their customers/clients behind the scenes and it was the same as it was 'out front'. Each person was and still is treated with respect and a degree of personal experience like no other. I was in search of a locally owned jewellery store to buy an engagement ring. I decided to give Karen's a try and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very helpful and very patient with me even though I was very indecisive. Nobody was pushy and I never felt like I was trying to be up-sold to a more expensive ring. I also never felt like I was being talked down to as I have at other places. Ultimately I purchased from them, I liked what I saw and it was within my budget.

After I gave the ring to my fiancée we came back in to have the ring resized it was close to closing time so we left the ring to be resized and picked up at a later date. While there we decided to pick out our wedding bands and once again they were very patient with us as we shopped. We finally made a discussion and as we were working on the paperwork, surprisingly the jeweller walked out with my fiancée's ring and handed it to her all resized and ready to go. Way to go making us feel like a priority. Thumbs up.

I had a great experience buying an engagement ring at Karen’s. You expect when making a purchase this important to get a lot of high pressure sales tactics. Karen’s staff could not have been more helpful and pressure free. They were not trying to upsell or pressure me into a decision at all. Jonathan and Bruce were extremely knowledgeable and explained everything. They were very responsive to every question and request I had. I was on a tight timeline as well and they were able to get me the custom ring in under a week. Not to mention the ring is stunningly beautiful. My fiancé smiles every time she looks at the ring or gets asked about. Her reaction is a reflection of their outstanding work. To be able to find that high quality of products with a stress free buying experience is truly rare. I can not recommend them more for buying an engagement ring and I know I will be using them for all my anniversary gifts...
