During a mandatory evacuation hurricane warning ⚠️ all gas stations ran out of gas. We saw a gas truck filling this station, so many of us pulled over to get gas. They opened half of the terminals. However, the gas was pumping so slow it took more than 1.5 hours to pump $30 worth of gas! That is not normal for a freshly refilled gas station that has previously been empty to do. It didn't have too many people pumping at the same time as only half the pumps were open, and I've been to stations where all the pumps were busy, and they still ran fast. After the first car got done, it was getting closer to closing and the manager informed us that they automatically close at 10:05pm. I had been waiting in line since 8:21pm and only one car in my life had pumped $30 worth of gas and it was around 9:55pm. When we complained, the gas station managers said there was nothing they could do about the speed in which it pumped. We took the complaints to the store managers, who only said there was nothing they could do, also. Calling customer service said there was nothing they could do, as well, but suggested we call the Home Office of Walmart Headquarters, who said there was nothing they could do, but they'd let management know so they could fix the problem. Umm, when? Guess what we did find out? If you try to pump regular or plus gas, it's slow. But if you pump Premium gas, it's fast. So, the car in front of me, me, and the car behind me got to get gas because we paid more for it. I guess Walmart knows how to scam it's customers! They should be...

Walmart was great, Murphys gas station is another story. Wife and I got ripped off by a skimmer on the gas pumps. $1200.00 worth. Called bank, Sheriff's office and Murphys manager.
