From the moment I walked in Debbie made me feel comfortable and kept me warm while I was watching tv and waiting for the nurse to come in, Then the nurse came in I apologize for not remembering her name, she was cute with a doggie 🐶 hat on, 😂 Very nice and explained briefly what I was going to have and what her role was going to be, The anesthesiologist, I believe his name was doctor Raggio, it’s amazing to me that when someone becomes a doctor they loose their given name and they all adopt the same first name “ Doctor”, oh well easy to remember 🤩🤩🤩😊🤩 Doctor Guerena had a procedure before mine , and I tough I always was his number 1 patient, but I patiently waited anyway 🥱 Well the time came, I followed the cute nurse in a very cold room. Acacia was quick to give me a warm blanket , my face was covered by a cold mask and I said good night……. next thing I know I was in a room with people going back and forth working, I was trying to wake up and drink the water that I was given…. My new nurse was very kind with beautiful black braids took excellent care of me and made it clear that I needed to urinate before I could go home, after water and coffee, Yaaaaaaaa ,success. I am sorry I don’t remember her name, after this fiasco , not remembering important people’s name I decided that my brain needs a little help, so I am adding Neuriva to my morning routine. 🤞🤞🤞🤞 As I was being rolled out I saw my fabulous doctor, I do know his “real”name, Micheal Guerena. He has been my doctor probably for 17 years, my most favorite doctor. I know I am his number one patient 😂 😂 😂 🤫 I will see him next week for a follow up appointment Now time to go home …..to see my nice family waiting for me and hoping to get a little nap 😴 Well I guess I have a long way of saying thank you all for the great care you gave me 😂 hope this procedure works for me Have a great day and an amazing...

So poorly treated that I can only speak to the Administrative staff, Stephanie and her second in command, which led me to cancelling surgery and leaving during pre-op. Patient care, rights and respect seem a far second, which then lessens or eliminates confidence in what patient care, safety and success of procedure will be.
Administration/registration staff need to work in a different field or commit to doing serious training in communication with a focus on compassion, understanding and respect, better education about patient safety, DEI, knowledge of HIPPA, insurance and billing. Training in preparing the patient with full education of procedure needs and what procedure is being done, and registration requirements. Billing issues in particular should not be discussed once the patient is taken back for pre-op. Any registration processes should be fully resolved prior to pre-op. And should not be discussed when a patient is being prepared for surgery.
If you want confidence in treatment, compassion, and respect, this is not the surgery center you should choose.
“Front of house” so to speak, is the face and voice of your business; it sets the tone, respect and trust throughout the entire organization - this is including your nurses...
