Grocery Outlet — Local services in Oceanside

Both stores that I shop at have similar products that they sell as they are individually owned. The Palm Springs grocery outlet store is bigger than the Store on date palm drive. They have a grouping of alternative non additive selection, dry foods, Snacks, Cereals, Chia seeds, nuts, almond milk, crackers, ice cream,plants, great frozen dept, gifts, wine, beer, cheeses, some organic produce. As with all Grocery Outlet stores, some food items may not always be available all the time. It's a hit and miss to get exactly what you want in the way of a product that you see and expect from a stocked Vons or Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Ralphs, etc. BUT THERE ARE good deals on first aide, creams, shampoos, veggies, cheeses, deli items, hummus, meats, chips, breads, dairy, and hidden items like pots pans, towels, clothes, fun items that pop up per individual stores. You will get a lot of good foods here at great prices if you are not fussy about always spending $ 💯 '/' at Whole Pay Check Prices, really! Check this place out, Coachella goers! To start off it’s thanksgiving week and there is the buy two get one free apple ciders signs on the apple cider and then my mom and I grab some because that’s what we originally went there for. Then the employees at the store tell us that it’s not valid anymore, well the sign is up so it should be valid. Then the manager comes out of no where and rips the sign off and says there’s nothing that they can do about it and it’s not valid anymore. Well I start saying that they should be able to honor it if they had the sign up and made a mistake.. that’s how things work right?? But they said “no that’s not how it works. It’s not in our system anymore.” And im like well you can override it. The sign was up. Basically the manager is a sissy and can’t do anything right, not even say kind words to a customer or explain anything nicely. I’ve been coming to this store and have been ignoring the signs of terrible customer service. So here I am. The store owners are terrible as well. People should just go to Walmart. It’s cheaper and they respect their customers and don’t screw...

The staff doing restocking and on the floor are nice but the cashiers here are so unhappy and unprofessional. I have a baby and not once has anyone ever offered to help me, even when I have a lot to carry and it’s obvious. A couple times I brought my own bag and the cashier didn’t say anything and just pushed my things aside after I paid. I asked why she didn’t pack my bags she said she didn’t want to if they were mine. At least communicate that to me instead of just pushing everything aside and acting like I’m not even there. Today the same thing happened but with a different cashier, I bought four things and she didn’t even put my things where I could add them to my bag just left them where she rang them through with my bag and didn’t bother to say anything or pack my bag. Seriously, train your cashiers to be friendly. There is a new young man who is super polite, I appreciate his friendliness so much. Just asking me how are you and saying hello makes a big difference.
