I don't know who these people are, but they sent me a certified mail notice insinuating they would place a lien on my home for payment.

We never entered into a contract and I've never corresponded with them before. If there is a payment dispute between a subcontractor or something like that, a threatening letter to me just reinforces that I won't take your side.
