Poki Poki — Restaurant in Oceanside

I've always loved this place. 4 years running. I went to the one on Marron Rd. and loved that place. This place is as good cleanliness wise, politeness of it's employees, and taste as the other place but I have to gripe about the portion size. Guys, seriously. I see you at the other place too and I don't understand how the amount you get at Marron Rd is significantly more than what you get here. I got a "large", 4 scoop, bowl. I know that what I get is basic, and I mean straight plain "traditional" poke, but even my wife said her regular looked bigger than mine. 2nd time I went here and both times I've been disappointed. I will give it one more try and I will write you off to a future date when you figure out your portions. Sorry, I love Poke Poke and even told all that I know to go because holy portion size Batman!Price vs amount was on point! Buuuut I guess...

I want to preface this with the fact that I do very much enjoy eating here I am just frustrated whenever I come later in the evening. If your restaurant hours are posted 11am-9pm I should be able to purchase a meal up until 9pm. Multiple times I have walked in with up to 10 minutes to spare and either all the food has been put up for the night or the register is being closed the second I walk in the door. I understand you have certain closing procedures to get done I’m no stranger to that, but when the open sign is on and the clock is still somewhere within 8pm I should still be able to leave with food that requires no preparation other than scooping it into a bowl.
