The communication throughout the entire process was definitely NOT up to par. Booking the venue was incredibly easy! However, as soon as the agreement was signed, communication was almost non-existent. Visiting hours are incredibly hard for the average person who works during the week -- and this venue is completely unaccommodating with setting up a visit outside of the 3-day visiting schedule. Being in the military out-of-state, there are only certain times where I would be able to make the 5 hour drive to see the venue. When signing the agreement, we were assured that, because of our situation, they would be able to work with us -- that never happened. The event employees seemed almost "snobbish", and on multiple occasions we asked to speak to someone specific, only to be told that they were not in the office...when we could CLEARLY hear them in the background. On two separate occasions we had to talk to a manager to sort through miscommunication -- or lack of communication. The only positive to this venue rental was that the venue was beautiful. If being made to feel like a nuisance and having terrible customer service does not bother you - and the only thing that you care for is a beautiful venue, then this is the place for you. If not, it would behove you to search for another venue and save yourself...

This is a beautiful new facility for meetings and events. I went there today for the first time to attend a Memorial Day Ceremony. The large meeting room holds up to 291 people. There is a smaller meeting room that could be used as a speaker-ready or media room. A large enclosed reception space is on the side, overlooking the lake. When they were designing the center, the City consulted with event planners and caterers. They incorporated their suggestions to make it a place that is ideal for events. There is a loading dock by the kitchen for easy loading and unloading of supplies. The catering kitchen has impressive equipment, including roll-in warmers and plenty of refrigerator and freezer space. The women's rest room has a private room for makeup, which is perfect for a bridal party. The site has excellent AV systems and support. One of the strengths is that there are ancillary spaces. For example the historic Withers-Maguire house is right next door. It has additional meeting rooms for break-out sessions or smaller events. Both properties are in the middle of a park overlooking the lake. The park is ideal for outdoor events, with a large gazebo, additional rest rooms, and...

Earlier today my fiance, her parents, and I went to do a scheduled tour and we were disappointed. The location is amazing, easy to find, but the service that received today was horrible. The reason I said it was horrible was that while we were being shown around the lady somewhat felt scared to the point that she had an Ocoee Police Officer there to witness the whole tour. I have never felt so out of place then I was today. I wished that my fiance, her mother, and I didn't make her feel so petrified to the point where police officer had to witness the whole situation. My tour was today roughly 2:30 PM(6/19/20). We can’t use a location where we truly don't feel welcome. The place is beautiful, but I wished everyone that worked there had beautiful and judge free...
