Cafe AND Wine Bar? Yes!
What I like? The service is great because Renata is very attentive and wanted to be sure I enjoyed my meal. Renata is the owner and is kind and very friendly. She made the atmosphere feel very homey. I felt like I could just relax and enjoy my smoothie.
What did I eat/drink? Avocado toast - liked it! Detox Smoothie - liked it! Key Lime Pie (yes, they have many pastries to choose from) - like it!
What should you know? They serve coffee AND wine! Drop by in the morning for coffee. Come back at dinner time for a glass of wine. (See the photos). You can try unique wines by the ounce (you choose- see photos). They also offer Wine Down Wednesday each week! A great place to have a glass of wine away from crowds.
What I learned while I was there? They are planning to open a wine bar adjacent to their cafe. It is called Wine O’Clock Bistro. They plan to open in January 2024. They also plan to maintain their commitment to work directly with the wine distributors.
What else was interesting? Yes, they will repair your bike while you wait but that is just what makes them unique. It is not a bike shop with coffee. More of a cool cafe that will fix your bike! Think cozy, small cafe with quiet music playing. Inside and outside seating, quaint and comfortable.
Who do I think will like this shop? Those who love to find cozy, coffee shops to work in or meet friends to chat. You will feel at home. Think ‘not Starbucks’. I like Starbucks - I am just suggesting that this isn’t that vibe. This is chill and homey.
Do I recommend? Yes! I am excited to return and plan to join Renata and her team for Wine Down Wednesday soon. I will definitely be back for the grand opening of...
Read moreBEWARE- ADA non-compliant! Beware if you are disabled or have an elderly parent you are taking out to eat, or if you can't read far away or use all the features of a smart phone, if your parent even has one. Because this business won't print one copy of their menu, just one!!! Can't you print one and laminate it or put under glass on the counter for those of us who can't or don't want to jump through hoops just to order some food!! The "menu" is high up on the wall way behind counter. I could see some pictures but not make out writing especially with the glare from window. Or they had some square thing you can scan but I don't know how to use that ...so as much as I would had loved to have given you the business of my office and me, instead I had to go up the street and buy everyone donuts and coffee instead. You lost a customer so consider printing a menu for...
Read moreI found bike life Café by chance after having something embroidered next door. It’s a small café inside the bike shop. Everything is bicycle themed, and it’s an open friendly feeling café with cozy seating inside and out. I had an excellent Chicken Panini and a delicious iced mocha. The bread on the Panini was crisp but soft, and the chicken was well flavored. It had lots of cheese, and spinach and tomatoes as well. The staff were super friendly. It was lunch on a Wednesday, and there were a few other couples enjoying burgers. The burgers must be very good because everyone was eating them.
I look forward to coming back to bike life café. I’m not even a bicyclist, but I imagine this would be the perfect place to refuel after a bike ride, or enjoy a coffee while they work on...
