*There’s just something comical about saying “Damn Good” doughnuts. Try saying, “Let’s go get us some of them damn good doughnuts” without laughing. It’s impossible, and lemme tell you, there are indeed damn good. DG Doughnuts is located on W McKey Street in Ocoee. Their website says they started out of a home kitchen and after a few, pretty rough growing years, they landed in a location all to themselves. Despite how damn good those doughnuts are, seating indoors is woefully inadequate for large groups of like 4 people or more. If you wind up outside at an umbrella covered table in Florida’s warmer months (that’s most of them), you’ll find yourself wiping sugar off your lips and sweat dripping down your face. To go seems a better option than sitting in. Open 7 AM to 5 PM, you can get a damn good doughnut 7 days a week. The pictures speak for themselves, but I have to say, there’s so many good looking options, you’re going to have a hard time choosing. I suggest buying a variety and do a tasting, saving the super yummy leftovers for later.

This place is definitely a hidden gem! 5 star all the way around. The friendliest service, beautiful, clean inviting atmosphere. They do have coffee but it's not like a Dunkin or a Starbucks. It's good but you don't go here for the coffee. The pastries are incredible! I went with my brother and his family and we tried a variety of things. The sausage egg and cheese "pocket" was amazing. I wanted to heat it up but we were on our way to the airport so surprisingly, I ate it cold and it was still a ten! The pastries were huge and so creative. Glad I remembered to take pictures because sometimes I forget 🤣 definitely worth a trip, DEFINITELY will be back again!!

Visited two times, shocked with the price of a dozen donuts at $33. While they were a nice huge donut I felt it lacking for folks who would want to take a dozen back to the office to share. These donuts look fluffy and my family was able to share two, the cinnamon with strawberry icing had all run off by the time I got home, the munchkins were ok and the blueberry needs to have a funeral or retired, obviously they didn’t use Tom West blueberries for those. The donuts are stored on racks and the staff were not wearing masks their choice however I would have liked to see staff washing their hands between customers or at least put gloves on after running the register then helping the next guest. Hairnets while working around the racks. The second visit was on a Sunday and there was a small line of customers. We got the Apple fritter and it’s still sitting on my counter 2 days later the edge was super crispy you had to dig dip for the fluffy part then really why was it so big it was more like an oversized croissant with icing. I think the owner needs a trip to Apple Country to visit the little old lady at the fair in Hendersonville NC to learn the art of Apple Fritters. It’s not the size that matters. If you are looking for a weekday one hit wonder this is your place. Should you want use your dollar wisely with no waste then get a dozen of donuts or munchkins drive across fifty, or take the old highway fifty to clermont for the King. I do wish the owners the best, I wonder if they would forge an alliance with DF Bakery to bring their edible treats of deliciousness, breads, rolls, croissants and chicken pot pies. Then I promise you I would be there everyday and change my two stars to a top five. Oh they would need to have a chart at the hand washing station though, and have front and back staff to not cross contaminate the products.

Edited to add response to owner. I appreciate your report we however I did witness one person washing their hands between customers or after running the register tapping on it then went immediately back to stack my four donut holes. I truly think you should send in a secret shopper to test how how often your employees actually...

DG DOUGHNUTS was an amazing surprise! We were initially lured in by the raving reviews and photos, and though admittedly quite skeptical of the location, am glad we took the gamble. Our first visit we showed up late afternoon and the place was wiped out of pretty much everything save for a few flavors. Though disappointing this was also a great sign to us, as most bakeries (or even Dunkin Donuts) are still loaded with their donuts well into the evening. And as for the leftovers? They looked phenomenal! One of the remaining kinds left was the Tiramisu Doughnut, which I picked for myself. What an ironic flavor to have left too, as tiramisu is one of my favorite deserts; having spent many years in Brooklyn where some of the best baked goods are found, I’m a cruel judge to the art, but when I say I was blown away by their version, I was blown away. They brought this traditional recipe to life in their doughnut. Fresh, not too sweet, and classily made, this is definitely a treat for all ages, but special to us adults who are looking to embrace traditional sweets in a new way. Impressed, we were willing to return and this time took their advice on placing an order in advance. I’m so glad we did, and with someone as sweet as Sarah was to us. But she also warned us of what we were ordering (the Apple Fritter). We didn’t fully believe her until we picked them up. It was incredible. We had doughnuts for two days, this is not a joke! They were enormous, brilliantly made, scrumptious, reasonably priced, and definitely something to show off to folks who gaped at the deliciousness of the treats. If you have a big family you’re wanting to spoil for a day, go here. We have traveled all over the country trying the best and worst foods this country has to offer, I am shocked to say we very well may have found the best doughnuts out here in the most unassuming place. Not to mention the amazing, honest, and polite employees— a true rarity in today’s times— who leave you pleased in giving business to and praying to continue doing so for many years to come. Give this place a chance, the experience is...

🍩 DG Doughnuts – A National Donut Day Pilgrimage Worth Every Glazed Mile

📍 Ocoee, FL ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)

Tucked off Route 50 in the heart of Ocoee, DG Doughnuts isn’t just a donut shop — it’s a full-blown doughnut destination. I made the pilgrimage on National Donut Day, and let me tell you: they didn’t just rise to the occasion—they proofed, fried, and frosted their way into Florida pastry royalty.

⸝

🏠 The Vibe: Hidden Gem Energy

From the outside, it feels cozy and unassuming. Inside? Warm, welcoming, and deliciously inviting. • Indoor + shaded outdoor seating • Great for grab-and-go or donut dates • That small-town hospitality with big-doughnut energy

⸝

👨‍🍳 The Staff: Top-Tier Hospitality

The crew here? Donut angels. They’re friendly, chill, and clearly passionate about what they do. No pressure, no rush, just honest recommendations and good vibes. You’ll feel like a local even if it’s your first visit.

⸝

🍩 The Doughnuts: Where Sweet Meets Savory Sorcery

This is not your average donut lineup. DG brings the creativity and the craftsmanship, whether you’re craving sugar or salt:

🧁 Sweet Classics & Showstoppers: • Cereal-topped wonders = Saturday morning nostalgia • Stuffed donuts with guava, Nutella, Bavarian cream — they ooze with intent • Glazes that balance richness without overpowering

🧀 Savory Surprises: • Everything bagel-style donuts • Cheddar-stuffed or bacon-topped experiments that somehow just work • That sweet/salty balance? Absolute donut alchemy

⸝

✅ Final Thoughts: A Sweet Tooth’s Paradise (and Then Some)

Whether it’s National Donut Day or just a Tuesday that needs a win, DG Doughnuts delivers with flavor, heart, and serious flair. It’s not just a place you visit—it’s a ritual you’ll want to repeat.

⸝

📌 Pro Tips: ✔️ Go early — top flavors sell out fast ✔️ Try one sweet, one savory, and grab a box for later ✔️ Ask for recs — the staff won’t...
