Brett's Towing & Roadside — Local services in Ogden

After calling 4 other tow services last night, I finally got down the list to Brett’s towing. The lady who was working in the office last night as dispatch was VERY kind, I informed her of my situation (blown out head gasket and troubles with other companies), she told me that she will be able to get someone out to me after a brief hold. She got back to me & already had my car information written down from before I was put on hold and had me in contact with a driver within 5 minutes, altogether she was very professional. The driver had some difficulty finding my location but we were able to work that out in a jiff, the man was very friendly and I wish I would have got his name. He didn’t have any change on him for cash payment so he took me by the gas station to break a bill at no extra charge. It is also important to note that I was only just passing through town when my car broke down, when we got my car to the shop at 1 AM he asked if I had someone to give me a ride to wherever I was staying for the night, I told him I was going to just walk to the hotel I had booked , he told me that he would just take me there as it was only a 5 minute drive compared to a 30 minute walk. Not to mention he made the ride to the dealership more than comfortable (even let me play a few songs of my choice) and he was able to maintain good conversation the whole ride. I would recommend this company to ANYBODY in need of towing services. If I could rate 10 stars and tell the higher ups to give these two people a raise I would in a heartbeat. Brett's Towing & Roadside in Ogden defaced my car. Last Monday I was in a pretty bad accident and my car was totaled. Well today I went with my mom to go get any personal belongings that may have survived the wreck out of my car and it was filled with mud and old trash, I'll attach photos. Everything that was in my front seat that may have survived was now ruined by this. That includes a very sentimental keychain which included a hand crocheted keychain and a souvenir that a friend brought me back from Barcelona that was very important to me and I can't replace. I also had leather seats that were possibly in good condition that I could have taken out and sold but are now ruined because of the tow company. When we tried bringing this up to them they said that it was my own trash that was tossed around in the wreck. That was not the case as you can see in the pictures it was very obvious that someone just dumped a load of garbage onto my passenger seat. Brett's towing is an absolute joke. Don't call them. If the police dispatch them to pick your car up from an accident, tell them you'll call your own towing company.. My car was picked up Fri. They told me as soon as they got the check from my insurance Saturday they would tow my car to the repair shop.They neglected to tell me their main office wouldn't be open Saturday, and wouldn't be open again until Tuesday. My insurance company over-nighted a check to them, and they told my insurance it would be towed to my boyfriend's shop Sat. They refused to tow it when I spoke with them until Tuesday, even though the check had made it there. Not only did they talk to and treat me like garbage, but they blatantly lied to my claims adjuster and myself. The fact that we don't have a vehicle, and can't get the ball rolling for the insurance doesn't matter to them. In fact, they told the repair shop that they flat out don't care, after being called out on their dishonest business practices. These guys are completely disrespectful and unprofessional.
