The lane reduction is an extreme hazard. I've seen no less than 20 aftermaths of accidents there in the 1st 3 or so weeks since the addition. It's ugly, the planters are constantly getting hit on both sides of the road, it's a hazard for both bicyclists and vehicles. It's no longer an enjoyable place to go. The 2 lanes on each side need to be restored. There's no merge room and I'd be willing to bet that there's no valid traffic plan, which is required. This is a highway, NOT a residential roaadway. Perhaps they lied on their permit? I dunno, but it's dangerous and needs...
Read moreWhat a nice nature park. The conservation group has done a marvelous job of creating educational signs, paths and sitting areas. It's possible to walk up to the Krotona center from this park too. WARNING There has been a redesign of the highway (33) next to the park that includes street parking, however it's challenging. Read moreOne of my favorite spots to take a leisurely walk or easy hike through in Ojai. I always come back to Ojai Meadows. There's something really peaceful and comforting about it, despite being right next a sometimes-busy road and a high school. You'll see plenty of wildlife - ducks, egrets, rabbits, hawks, squirrels, and sometimes owls too. Beautiful place to take pictures. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an easy hike or walking path...
