Love GameStop. My boyfriend and I go at least once a month. Best place for rewards on preorders. Went in tonight for my pre-order of Pokemon Arceus. I was informed that I came in at 11 p.m. for the early game launch for no reason. Because my receipt was not "finalized" I could not pick up my copy of the game or get the pre-order (1st come, 1st serve) pre-order art cards that come with the game. I was advised that the systems are closed and nothing could be done. I will give a compliment to the lady who stood in the cold after hours explaining the situation. But a huge complaint to Mike who sold me my pre-order 3 days prior and said all I had to do was come pick up my copy at 11p.m. on the night of release. As well as a huge complaint to the lady who stood in line saying she worked at Gamestop for 7 years and this is the way it has always been. I have picked up midnight releases in the past and never had this problem. The lady who worked the release at least sympathized with the situation and gave me the art cards so I at least wouldn't miss out on that. She turned a complaint into a compliment and is the only reason I will return to Gamestop. Honestly though, if you have a scorned ex employee slandering the supervisor literally outside the store, that doesn't look well for the company. James the employee greats us at the door asked if we needed anything, asked then immediately redirected us to another store as they didnāt have half of what we we asked for. As we proceeded to try and further inquire about the half of the products they did have he just kept walking away and directing us to another store and refusing to assist us. We eventually had to ask the only employee present as he went to the back never to return to the front rudely without explanations. The counter employee answered our questions very politely and allowed the opportunity to decide did we even need to visit another store or could we purchase at this store and pick up later when it arrived. I wish I new the counter employees name as he was very helpful and attentive as for James he was very rude and makes me not ever want to use this store again. If I have to drive to Moore to get treated like a customer instead of discard then I will rather waste the gas then to encounter such a non willing to work and blatantly rude employee who does not seek to make sales for...

Also I went in a couple days ago, 11/4, to pay off my GoW pre-order and I'm pretty sure the attendant did my trade-ins wrong. I'm a pro member and the tradeāin games rung up 32.00(Horizon Forbinden West PS5), 32.00(The Quarry PS5), and 27.20(Kena: Bridge of Spirits PS5) everything totalled 91.20. Instead of the attended putting everything on a gift card like GAMESTOP always does she somehow messed everything up and removed my pro member from the transaction which lowered the price of my trade in value and put 15.00 towards GoW and gave the rest to me in cash, the cash she pulled out was 35.16. I'M MISSING 41.04 SOMEWHERE. I ended up paying off the rest of the pre-order and I did not have the energy to fight her on the issue that she messed up. I asked her several tile to stop the transaction so I could come back later and have a tenured attendent assist me, because she was new. What baffles me is that she didn't ask for help.
