High 5 Retro Guys — Local services in Oklahoma City

I don’t even know where to begin, but I’ll start by getting right to the point; High 5 Retro Guys is absolutely hands down the very best toys and collectibles store I have EVER been to. It was a pleasant surprise to walk in and have themed rooms of pops, hot wheels, and other collectibles. Everything was stocked in a way where for once, because we all know we hate this, you don’t have to dig into the back of the shelf because nothing is hiding from you! The selection though made me sad, but sad because I didn’t have a million dollars to buy the whole darn store! They had what felt like unlimited numbers of pops that I had NEVER seen before, and don’t get me started on the level of nostalgia that flooded me as I looked at it all (and the owner claimed I caught them on a low stock day)! Additionally, the decorations were so awesome! They had custom made large scale creations plus some of the best models I’ve seen in a long time! The place was clean and actually massive (which I didn’t expect)! Lastly, the customer service was beyond expectation. The owner sees this most of all as a safe hobby space for all to gather. He is fine with you even using his store as a safe trading spot instead of some back alley Walmart. Every $100 you spend he gives you a $10 credit. Him and his wife hosts movie nights for the community, does ”wine and pallet“ painting classes and will let you come in anyday to just hang out and tinker with things while sharing numbers of facinating stories. They also have a Facebook group for all to collectively sell, trade and chat! What I really loved, is they educated me on what fair pricing is; They taught me which site to use to see pricing, how to understand manipulated market trends vs actual profitability and much more so I can be an advocate for myself. Most business owners wouldn’t teach you tricks of the trade like that, but these guys are different.

Listen, if you want a place to hang out or trade safely this is it. If you want a place to get crafty, this is it. If you are looking a place with that one thing you can’t find, this is it. My hubby and I absolutely LOVE coming to High Five Retro! It’s far from your average Funko and Collectibles store. Everyone is so knowledgeable, friendly and they make an effort to not only remember YOU, but also what you’re into. (Which Funkos you’re looking for, or vintage toys, etc). The playlist of music is always top notch. We could literally spend hours here on any given day. They have so many ways you can dive into collecting as a first timer, or as a seasoned collector. Follow them on FB (High Five Pop and Retro Toy Swap) and tune in on Sundays at 4pm for their Live where they showcase their newest inventory! These guys are literally the best! You can tell that everyone who works there has a passion for collectibles which makes the environment all the more inviting and fun! Even if you only have 5 minutes, stop in and check it out! Wish i could give higher than 5stars thats how good of an experience we had... we are Visiting from Texas and this is by far the best store for vintage and new hot wheels, as well as all kinds of movie props and some cosplay item, unique one of a kind items ! Basically everything except comic books but that was fine with us as we dont collect those ....By far the best store for funko pops they have ones we hadn't even seen before for our star wars/mandalorian collections ! They have best prices and customer service ! Friendliest workers who go out of there way to help you find what you're looking for even if they don't have it at the time! Have a great system that racks you points up for I think it's every $1 you spend where you can get even better deals than the already great deal you are getting ! Worth...
