47 Lounge and Grill — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

First, this place was crazy. We were at a company party and decided to bail with workers and gave this place a stop.. absolutely blown away 😀. The lighting and sound system rivals full-blown clubs like Stereo Live in Dallas. We thought it was just a bar...yes...it has a big bar......But don't go expecting just a bar and a quiet talking environment....it's not that.

We were not expecting Latino Night and felt a bit out of place....but when the place started to fill up, everyone started interacting with us, dancing, inviting the dance floors, or just helping us get around. There was lots of security, even outside the bathrooms, but they were never imposing.

It has a separate bar that is mostly for water and focused on hydration. The girl we talked to there was a sweetheart and was helpful in directing us around when we had questions.

Was not expecting this and was very happy to have stopped by. Will be back to check out the different...

This is probably the best spot I've been to in Oklahoma City. Everything inside is brand new. It's still so new that the bars are not crowded, and you can get a good drink for pretty cheap. I went with my fiance who also said that she enjoyed the atmosphere. Security was her biggest bragging point as she always looks at bar night clubs from a single woman's point of view. I can agree with her easily as I haven't been patted down like that since we went to clubs in Dallas.

It was a great night, a good time, and it was cute enough that I even decided to propose there. That might make me a little partial, but you should still go...

It has a very very nice vibe and the owner was very kind and attentive. They definitely paid attention to all the details for a very busy night and the crowd seemed to love it. Me and all my girlfriends definitely think this is our new favorite place in okc and will be coming...
