Had my daughters Birthday party here it was a pretty good space has lots of potential, I think more trained staff for kids would help, staff seemed quite unsure of a few things and it wasn't the friendly and informed experience I've experienced at some other places. I had to ask were the party room was, the host of the party room was decent but yet lacked the personality. Kids loved the play areas and have nice lounge area, I think the deals on the party package was pretty decent as well. Another suggestion would be to maybe not schedule Birthday parties into closing time, because what I believe was the manager (not sure he seemed quite young, which is fine if you have those qualities) came to me @ 6:10p as we are getting the kids together, gifts packed, etc to let me know they were closing( the party was scheduled 4:30- 6:10p) I said thanks we are aware and getting stuff cleaned and packed up now, again @ 6:27p he comes to me sir we closed 15 mins ago, still finishing up loading the car and making sure all 17 kids have their shoes and things, then @ 6:35ish we are all gathering for a couple pictures by the entrance in front of the play area before heading out from a photographer I hired and again he comes to me we are closed. You guys must understand when dealing with kids and Birthday parties it takes time to get kids gathered up and stuff packed up. We only have 6 kids and 12 nieces and nephews so the kid party thing is a very monthly event for us especially since the ole lady wants parties for the kids all the time.
Soooo.... with a much more trained staff from door to party room to management (or maybe management not sure the manager didn't make their self be known or check in with Birthday like other places I've been) and maybe not making the guest feel pushed out the door especially a kids Birthday party, $400 was spent I think it could be improved. The personality of your employees plus the fun space for the kids to enjoy is what make my kids pick there next Birthday spot, now you guys have a great space that almost just right now if you guys can wake up the young staff get some personality in them and make people want to come back. That was the kids biggest complaint was the workers didn't even smile and they felt weird, but they LOVED the play. My personal favorite part was what you get in the party package I think it's a pretty decent deal compared to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreReviews are skewed. Was offered $2 off prior to entering (per kid) to give a five star review. I took the deal, but am following up with my true review, instead of my bought one.
Took my 4 and 1 year old here on a Saturday because my oldest had been asking to go (she had been before with an aunt, this was my first time). The space itself it very large, but a lot of it seems wasted. The play gym is okay, mostly places to crawl around. There are two slides, which were just okay. One enters to a ball pit, but the slide stops the kids before they get to the so-so filled pit. (The balls also bunch in the corner). An attendant at other kidsā gyms is there to push the balls back. I will say the toddler area was great. A smaller slide with a ball pit and things for little movers to crawl around; however apparently the older kids thought it was cool too⦠so we couldnāt really enjoy the space.
Security/children check out is better at other places. And there were some children climbing ON TOP of the structure, which an employee (or parent for that matter) wasnāt around to correct.
After all while my older was done with the gym and just wanted to play the arcade games (which I had heard from aunt was probably what was going to happen). My husband bought a play card. Can you guess what the minimum dollar amount was for a card. $25! Wuuut. I was guessing $5-$10. $25 seems a little desperate (in addition for bribing for reviews). I suppose itās nice you can use that money for games AND concessions⦠but we couldnāt get the card to swipe on a lot of games and some of the rides were broken. š
Overall for value, entertainment, and safety I think the place is just okay. For me itās ranked three out of the four Iāve tried in the area. I have not yet been to We Rock the Spectrum. I think the next time my kiddo starts asking to go here, Iāll just take her to an arcadeā¦
Money spent was $24.55 for admission for two kids and two adults (after $4 off) and $25.00 game/concession card. For 2...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was our first time visiting here. Absolutely loved every aspect of it!! We have visited all of the indoor play places in the OKC/Edmond area and I like this one as well! They do have a security system, which is a plus, (like Chuck E Cheese, with the black light number on everyoneās arm), which I LOVE!! Also the toddler area was great for my 8 month old to be able to explore without worry of the big kids. My big kids got to run all of their energy out and it was even big enough for me to join along while carrying the baby! They also make amazing pizzaās on site along with a full snack bar! Also one of the workers (I assumed he might be the owner) came to me and told me they had fresh baked cookies for the kids in the snack area! Staff was great, area was clean (even the bathrooms!), was a safe location, with a check in/out system, and overall amazing! It also has a little arcade area for the kids. I also seen a āloungeā area with couches which seemed to be a quiet area if baby would have needed a nap (trust me the quiet areas during nap time are life savers when you have big kids and babies!). Only thing I would suggest is possibly painting the hallway to the bathrooms. It is long and kind of āfar away (I have a 3 year old so when she says she has to go, itās an emergency!)ā but I did notice cameras in the hallways so that made me feel better. But possibly painting it with fun space creatures or even paintings may make it not so ālongā for the littles. But we will definitely be going here again to get all of our energy out! Thank you to all of the staff that made our outing...
