*Not for sellers. * I went there to donate clothes. Cashiers were nice. Manager was difficult & snobby. You don't get money the same day, you have to wait a day or 2 to get a call back, & they pay you for the WEIGHT of your clothes. Day 2: I got a call the next day, amount came to $9.75 for a bag of designer clothes (1 pair of Fair condish Coach shoes $0.90 (yes 90 cents!!), a good condish Kenneth Cole purse, 1 brand new pair of Nike's $3.50, another Nike sneaker $3.50, and the rest of the clothes came up to about $3). Well I wasn't expecting it to be that low but atleast i got something instead of nothing. I took one of the sneakers back for $3.50 and actually made $30 on them on Let Go. She gave back 2 excellent condition sweaters and jeans which didn't make since and in season. My husband and I also where plus size so it would be nice to have that size available in the store i.e. XL, Large, XXL, size 16, 14,12 and 40×32. Nothing crazy.
So when I came to pick up the clothes and money I brought more thinking I would have gotten more money. I had a pain flare up that day and didn't feel well but wanted to keep my promise and good business for future deals that I would come in and pick it up when she called. So in pain, I put some sweats on and drove 15 mins in traffic. Got there and waited for the manager. While waiting, a younger employee who speaks Spanish said, "Why would we buy anything from someone who look like her!" She at me, laughed in my face, laughed with her other co worker, then went behind the counter to sort clothes. She didn't know I could understand Spanish and knew what she said. I was hurt, embarrassed, angry because how could she be so cruel to say something like that about a customer and just assume that just because she is not of the same race/melanin, she wouldn't know the language? I'm here to get my money so I didn't respond to her in Spanish, I didn't want to get upset and make my pain even worst or cause a scene. I just waited for the Manager. So when she said $9.75 I'm thinking, "What type of establishment are yall running here"???
Day 3: After leaving the next bag of clothes on Day 2 (I really wanted to get rid of them) I got a call to pick up the money. She doesn't tell you how much over the phone for some reason but I made an effort to ask. She said $0.96 (YES 96 CENTS) . I said ok I'll go pick it up. Drive 10 mins, get there and ask for ALL the clothes back. At this point you're being unreasonable and this manager has no rhyme or reason to her decisions. How do I know this? Because 2 identical sweaters she wouldn't take on Day 2 she took on Day 3. She kept the free t-shirts from an auto shop, free bandanas, and something else that wasn't worth much. But turned down, Levi's, Calvin Klien, Eva Mendes, American Eagle, etc. As seen in the photos attached. I couldn't believe it! This lady is nuts and does not want to pay people no more than $2 for their bag of items.
The cashier upfront was very nice and even agreed her judgement didn't make sense for what she kept and what she gave back to me. She went back to get all my items. She came back out with them all and that's how I knew what she kept and what she didn't. The manager would not come out. In a panic way the cashier said, "She said what's that box, what's in that other box??" I said, "What box?" I look down and I said, "Oh, this is my box. This is just to put the items in there and put it back in my truck." She responded, "Oh, oh, ok."- like it's not as big of a deal as she made it. I asked, "How does she know I have a box." She said, "Oh she's watching you from the camera." ????? WHAT! Why the heck are you watching me from a room with a camera for? Why are you hiding in the back and sending your coworker to come out and do your work?? Wow! I was appalled to be treated this way! I have done nothing wrong. I've NEVER been treated this way by a store. You had me drive back for $0.96!!!!!!! So Sellers- this place is a big no no. Buyers can...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible customer service… they have raised prices a lot! Please be aware when they are checking you out… they have items with tickets that are hiding and then if you are buying multiple items they will add in a very expensive ticket while talking to you. Once I paid, I stepped aside and realized that the total price was crazy high. Once I checked the receipt I realized that one of the dresses I got was $30.00… at a thrift store!!! I never left the store but when I told them this must have been a mistake as the other dresses were $15.00 maximum … the workers all started yelling at me… they have these oversized egos and treat all customers like they are less them! Beyond disappointed in what this store has become! They grumpily mentioned the manager will call me tomorrow… if they do and make this right… I will delete this. Very unfortunate… power...
Read moreI usually really like the things I find at this store and have never had a problem with customer service but today they were quite rude. The place closes at 6 but at 5:50 they turned the majority of the lights off to get people to the front. I have no problem with them telling people a few minutes to time to go to the register as that is what most stores do, but to turn the lights off is uncalled for, unprofessional and also a big liability. People can fall when it’s dark, bump into things, injure themselves etc.. Really disappointed as I used to...
