Little Polska — Local services in Old Saybrook

A sweet bit of Poland right in Old Saybrook! It’s exciting to have a market so close by with many of my favorites that I would normally drive to New Britain for. Walking into Little Polska you immediately feel welcome, and the staff’s energy is so contagious you can’t help but smile! In addition to grocery items and candies, there are deli meats and cheeses, baked goods, prepared foods in the refrigerator section, and a hot bar with delicious options that change daily. I got the stuffed cabbage, pierogies, a veggie/sausage side dish, and a jar of pickled beets to take home for dinner. We enjoyed it all! The pierogies were so tender and flavorful, and the crowd favorite was the stuffed cabbage. The owners put a lot of thought into making the entrance and the market wheelchair/walker accessible. There’s a nice ramp from the parking lot to the boardwalk and a grab rail next to the entry door. Good food, great service, friendly people. Me and my wife were extremely excited to finally get a chance to visit this extremely warm and beautiful Polish market.. Very clean and the woman behind the counter are what these other “ specialty “ markets are missing.. They have a wide variety of Polish favorites ..Their foods to go is also a nice touch.. If you are looking for clean and delicious hand made foods this is your spot .. I picked up their hand crafted Pierogis, Stew , stuffed cabbage and pickled vegtables … Their Paczki Are absolutely amazing.. I wish I could give 10 stars.. An absolute gem for the Old Saybrook...

Fantastic addition to the shoreline. Not only do they have polish food, they have GREAT polish food. Stanley pieorgi is the best in the region if not the country, and they had it.
