Very bad experience with their take out service, manager, food - just about everything was awful. We ordered food online and went to go pick it up about 20 minutes later. They kept saying “5 more minutes” “10 more minutes” until we had been waiting there for over 30 minutes. They then realized their ticket receiver had been offline for over an hour (meaning they were never working on our order) so they basically lied to us and the other ppl waiting. We were upset but know these things can happen so we were patient and tried not to add fuel to the fire - however the way that they decided to handle it was to avoid eye contact with us, not apologize and honestly be rude, as if we were causing them this major inconvenience of existing and dining there. So we waited a total of 1 hr and not once did they apologize. On top of this, the food was just simply awful. As if on top of a super long wait, they couldn’t take the extra time to toast bread. The bread was not toasted so the sandwich itself was soggy. The onions were on the side (?) and not on the sandwich and apparently, I’m not worthy of more than a sliver of avocado. The sausage was tasteless, the potatoes had no form of seasoning so again, tasteless, and were cold. I mean, I’m not looking for additional reasons to add to an unfortunate machine mishap - this place needs to get it together in more ways than one. I’m not posting this to be mean or to deter ppl from dining here - this is for the owner (who I’m sure is trying to realize their dream of owning a successful business) to take this as a learning experience to appropriately train your staff for when these...

It’s a gamble for the price. The first time my family came here we were very pleased with the food, I got a pancake and an eggs Benedict, my partner enjoyed the chicken fried steak. We took half the pancake home it was so big. We were excited to come back, but this time I was quite shocked when my plate arrived. I ordered their nacho Benedict with waffle fries. I was very confused when I cut into my poached eggs because it was so over cooked it was practically hard boiled. I order eggs Benedict everywhere I go and I have for my whole life, it’s my favorite food, and I have never had a poached egg be that over cooked, not one other time. I also did not taste any hollandaise sauce anywhere. I was pretty upset because I’m pregnant and I was really hungry, but for the first time in my life I decided to ask for a remake. The waitress was very understanding. I got the regular eggs Benedict the second time, and it was fine, they actually gave me a whole ramekin of hollandaise sauce to make sure I got enough, but I am just not blown away. My partner even commented that the hollandaise was very thin and it was not flavorful, and the home fries were good texture wise but not very flavorful either, I don’t believe they were salted. I am disappointed because we had such a good meal the first time we came. Unfortunately I just think that their menu is too expensive to take a gamble on. We are here first time on May 30, 2023. Tiffany was our waitress. Everything was wonderful. She had 4 tables inside she was serving and took great care of us outside. That’s why we returned the very next day. THAT’S WHEN ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE. Another waitress was there (don’t know her name). She had only one table inside and immediately told us we will not be served outside. She said we can take it to go and then sit outside if we want. We said we don’t want the food wrapped. To let us know when it’s ready and we’ll bring it out ourselves. She was reluctant but said ok. Then we ordered coffee and she said we have to order 2 coffees even though the day before we were given a pot which was enough for both of us. She refused. She also insisted we pay upfront before even getting the food although we were eating there, outside She was NASTY and MILITANT. We could not believe the difference between the service the day before and now. We told her this would most likely be the last time we’re there. SHE TOLD US TO GO EAT SOMEPLACE ELSE, THAT THERE ARE PLENTY OF PLACES AROUND. HER OBNOXIOUSNESS WAS ENDLESS!! The owner should know how she treats customers and that she’s actually driving customers away from his business.
