Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Old Saybrook

The nite crew here was so RUDE even the girl who took my order smiling while giving the other workers "mess with his order vibes" straight outta WAITING.. If you can,... go to westbrook/clinton one! I really HELD OFF in writing a bad review because I eat alot of blizzards there and the day crew has always been wonderful.. HOWEVER, this was the 4th time THIS SEASON the closers have messed up my order. I've had an issue with the closers giving sub par or even WRONG orders! AND they know you cant come back to fix it.. Tonite, i get there at 9:22 thinking they close at 10pm like westbrook.. I was wrong it was 9:30..so as I'm apologizing she says "oh don't worry it's ok" ....to add.. the OPEN SIGN WAS STILL UP and I just watched another man leave the window as I walked up..anyway.. . I then proceed to put like $8.50 in the tip jar in a second act of remorse for it being so close to closing time. They then I'm 100% positive messed up my order on purpose. I say that because afterward I remember her saying.. " did ya hear that??.. it's a to go w a lid" in a weird kinda tone.. AND it was the WORST made blizzard I've ever been given.. I should've checked it b4 I left.. not only was there like no chips and like 3 brownie crumbs in my brownies blizzard ...BASICALLY EVERYTHING I PAY TO BE IN THERE...it looked like they stuck the mixer in once , pulled it out, and put the lid on... AND there was about 2.5inches of space in the top of my $6.50 large blizzard and that hole down the center.... It looked so bad i was reluctant to eat it due to thoughts of what they could have done to it.. I mean With the 120% tip did I not deserve a decent blizzard?? Not to mention the stink eye the one boy working gave me the whole time while I waited...SERIOUSLY?? Over like 8 min!? Just say your closed! I'll be driving to Westbrook/Clinton from now on...worst DQ experience...

Today I went to Dairy Queen in old Saybrook Connecticut with my friends and ordered my ice cream with a worker Heather. She was very rude to me and said my card was expired when it was not. She then took my me and my friends ice cream and slammed the window in our faces. It was horrible and uncomfortable!! She then replaced the receipt roll and used my friends card which worked now (obviously because the roll was changed).. prolly wont come...

We where standing outside Old Saybrook Dairy Queen last evening and got eaten alive by Nats. 100's of them. My wife got sick on an ice cream cone. They are rude and it must be hard to get good help. Maybe because they don't have to be in Old Saybrook which is a Foodie Town. Will go to Westbrook next time maybe. They have indoor...
