There should be more than 5 stars for Grossman Nissan. The entire process incuding every individual involved in the process, including: Internet Sales Manager, Shelby, General Sales Manager, Bobby , Salesperson, Cody, Finance, Asher and Owner, Linda, was nothing but pleasureable, and beyond outstanding. This review may be long, but I could not be more pleased, with the service I received at Grossman Nissan.
First, I made an inquiry about a car on the internet on Sunday, about 11 a.m. I didn’t expect to hear back until at least Monday, considering it was Sunday. Within 20 minutes I received an email from Shelby, explaining they were closed on Sundays, but someone would contact me on Monday.
Later that evening, I received an email from Bobby, stating that he lived in a nearby town, and he offered to bring my car to me to test drive, considering Grossman was approximately 50 mins away.
Shelby and Bobby exceeded my expectation beyond words, and it was just the beginning.
I decided to go to Grossman on Monday and test drive the car. Every person I came in contact with was extremely pleasant.
Bobby was beyond pleasant and introduced me to Cody, my salesperson. Shelby came out to introduce herself, again, exceeding expectations.
Cody proved to be extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional and beyond the best salesperson I have encountered, no exaggeration.
When realizing I travel long distances each day Cody offered to take an extra long test drive, highway and back roads to get a real feel for the car.
Cody’s detailed explanation of the features of the car, performance facts and safety features was amazing.
After the test drive, and numbers were discussed, I was not ready to purchase the car, not due to service, or quality or anything about Grossman or the professionals I dealt with. I was unsure whether the car was suitable for my needs.
Within one hour of leaving Grossman’s Bobby and Cody contacted me, but only to thank me for visiting Grossman’s. Not long after, Linda, the owner contacted me, again thanking me for visiting their showroom. Again, beyond my expectations.
In the short time I looked for cars I made a few inquiries and the experiences were extremely different. There were the inquiries that went unanswered. The questions that went unanswered. Then there were the internet salespeople that never answered questions, but were perceived as pushy when they suggested I come in and put a deposit on a car that I never test drove nor even saw, because it could be sold quickly.
Not once did anyone appear pushy or forceful at Grossman’s. Their emails offered assistance with any questions I may have not pushing me to make a purchase.
One week later at 3 pm on a Saturday, I walked in Grossman’s asking to test drive the car again.
Considering the showroom closes at 5, I thought this may be a little late.
Again Grossman’s, Bobby, Asher and especially Cody, went above and beyond and exceeded expectations .
At 6:30 ish, 90 mins after closing time I was driving home with my new car.
I would not only buy another car from Grossman, I would recommend them to anyone in the market for a new car.
A true pleasure.
I can go on forever, especially about Cody. Thank...
Read moreHi Everyone at Grossman,
I wanted to thank everyone at Grossman for helping me with the total loss of my 2019 Leaf. I won it from you at your 2019 Earth Day event. It was so exciting to win the two year lease of the car! Who wins a car? That was crazy. I liked it so much I ended up buying it, and just recently another one because I love this car. The e-pedal, I can install a receiver hitch for my bicycles, and kayaks, and its reliability.
Unfortunately, in June, the back of my car was hit by a young driver's car (he was found at fault by the police). It broke my heart. Not that that wasn't bad enough, last month while using my wife's car because mine was gone, hers was backed into in a friend's driveway, unoccupied, by her elderly parents. Sheesh, that was bad luck. Your collision shop will fix it next week.
Rachel Rosenstreich gave me help dealing with the insurance company for my car. She gave me information about the CT Loss of use regulations that I used to request compensation for the car being in the shop. She also gave me CT Insurance Department information I could use to file a complaint against my insurance provider; just mentioning that I may submit a complaint got me a resolution to my total loss claim yesterday. That took nearly 3 months; it would have been longer and less successful without her.
Cody Baumgartner set me up when I won the first Leaf. With its total loss, he helped by providing optional equipment information to the insurance company. With the new one, he helped me by looking for a used Leaf. He even got me a Carfax report on a car at another dealer (sorry!) and provided me with incentive information the other dealer wouldn’t. Cody sent me the federal form 8936 for a used credit of $4,000!
Both Rachel and Cody went well beyond the call of duty! I can't thank you all enough for your...
Read moreI just purchased a Nissan Rouge and when I got home I saw that the front wheel was scraped and the tire sidewall was cut. I called the salesman and he said they could change it at my cost. This should have never been sold like this because of a safety issue. Not happy. I also called the salesmanager and Linda Grossman and got no call back.
6-21-18 rainy morning and I find out my rear windshield wiper is broke. Did they even look at this car before they sold it?
OK 3:00 6-21-18 Grossman's took me in and fixed the wiper and ordered a new tire. Will be put on tomorrow. Before they said they would have to replace 2 because of all wheel drive, but at least they are changing it out. I will up my rating to reflect the good service.
6-23-18 Now able to enjoy my new car. Tire was replaced as well as the rear wiper. Service was excellent. Big thumbs up to Steve in the service Dept.
6-27-18 I was told that the oil was changed and the sticker on the windshield states next oil change at 17k miles. Well I checked the oil and it was dark and had a burnt smell to it indicating that it had NOT been changed as stated. Again numerous calls to the sales manager and Linda Grossman and no answer. Also a push pin under the hood is missing.
6-27-18 Sales manager had me come in and they took care of the push pin and changed the oil and filter. Thank you Bob.
Just to finish the story, The transmission went while on I95. Avoided a major accident, AAA to Girard Nissan, they couldn't do the job so off to Nissan of Norwich. After months of waiting Nissan Corporate bought the car back. What a POS. I now drive...
